Sorry for the poor pics, but my V-scape is having issues, so it will have to do for now. Also, I am sending out the map instructions to Gr3ny so that they can share it with all of us.

I don't like the start zones on top of the walls that would connect to the roof. It ruins the illusion of the interior. The tops of the walls shouldn't be able to be played. I would have left them uncapped but I know people prefer them capped aesthetically but the intent was that they were walls that went to the ceiling & not able to fly, jump, leap, or swing over. You could have just went with an exterior map if you were going to do that.

Cheers

I am not sure what you want.

They aren't yellow start zones, they are simply marked as a reference.
How does having a ruling and an on paper mark ruin the illusion? You won't see the yellow markers when you build the map. Did you read the Special Rules for the scenario?
The tops cannot be played on. Again, read the Special Rules for the scenario.
Normally, I wouldn't have a problem with uncapped walls, but this map is so pretty that I think it will really detract from its beauty by doing that. However, that "uncapped" hang up is something that the now-gone Map Members had a majority problem with, but it has not been ruled out by us.... just saying, that option is still on the table for us.
You can't jump over them, read the rules.

 My bad. Forget I said anything. In my rush to read it I missed that whole rooftop line. I remember reading the home advantage section & must have skipped straight to the victory conditions from there.

Please accept my apology for jumping the gun, I was excited to read the scenario & missed that one line.

Looks good! I think Doom might not need so much backup to tear those three Adventurers a new one, though. I've seen him do quite a bit all by himself! Testing should show one way or another, though.

Looks good. Were the ruins added, or did I just forget to include them when I built it? Was that the only change to the map that you made Griff?

I added the ruins.

The only other change I made was that there was some floating tiles at the top of the staircase, and though it may hold, I wanted to reinforce it with some pillars.

I drafted Beast, Iron Man, She-Hulk, and Plastic Man.

She-Hulk started in the castle and then jumped right onto Doom. Doom used the home advantage and the two Doombots came to the balcony and attacked her pretty hard. Shulk and Doom went back and forth for a while, with Doom stealing her Hard Body power, both of them were being difficult to defeat, but when the Moloids came in and surrounded her, she die, but until she first "killed" Doom and he reappeared as a Doombot.

The Moloids surrounded and fortified both sides of the door, then Beast came in and beat the dog mess out of them. Doom came out and beat up Beast some, but Beast got away after negotiating and then killed the last of the Moloids.

Plastic Man grabbed Doom, and Doom fought back with no luck. Iron Man went and grabbed the Latverian Life Spell and then killed a Doombot. Doom wrestled with Plastic Man some more, then managed to kill him.

Beast was killed off by Doom as Iron Man went after the last Doombot down stairs in the study and on the complete other side of the castle. Doom was in pursuit. The Doombot ambushed Iron Man and knocked the Latverian Life Spell out of his hands, then Iron Man killed that Doombot. Dr Doom came down and engaged Iron Man and hit him for a wound (one away from death). Iron Man took a risk and went after the Spell and Doom failed the leaving engagement attack. Then Iron Man took height and killed Doom.

Iron Man wins with the Latverian Life Spell. Beast, She-Hulk, and Plastic Man are destroyed.

Would that cut down on the hand space in that area?

Oh, yeah that is still possible, but I also blocked that little nook off as slipping bases in there is very difficult, and so perhaps Doom could slip in and range attack someone that couldn't shoot back or engage him.

I also made a bunch of other adjustments so there is more emphasis on each room being tailored for a special purpose. Ask GO for the PDF, I think you will really like what I have done. All of your structure and concept is there, I just added some trim and details. :)

I went with She-Hulk, Beast, Iceman, and Iron Man.

First attempt:
Doom's team wins on Turn Two of Round 5 despite never once winning initiative. Doom had 4 wounds on his card (2 life left), 3 of 4 Doombots survived, and 6 of 10 Moloids survived. Pretty much a slaughter first time out. The attrition of Moloids pumped by their leaders and Doom was too much for the Adventurers (and Scientist) to handle. She-Hulk put all four wounds on Doom, and Beast killed the Doombot and 3 of the 4 Moloids. Iron Man was killed by Doom in the start zone before he could do anything but kill one Moloid who'd come to lock him down. Iceman was placed in the middle of the map early and assassinated by Doom after he failed to hurt a Doombot with his initial attack. Doombot hit on his Pit Trap twice (against She-Hulk and Beast) and stole Beast's powers on about three occasions.
With Order Markers stacked on Moloids, Negotiation did not come into play.

Second attempt:
Doom's team wins on Turn 3 of Round 4 with 4 wounds on Doom, two Doombots with 1 wound each (they're so hard to kill with 6 defense and then height advantage as well!), and 6 dead Moloids. Doom assassinated She-Hulk in her startzone in one turn (so no healing), Iceman got a wound in on a Doombot early, but then fell to Doom (Iceman was, again, the one placed in the castle), Beast was assassinated by Doom in the startzone, and Doom and the Moloids took down Iron Man (who saved himself once with the Latverian Lifespell) after Iron Man wounded the second Doombot, wounded Doom four times, and killed 6 Moloids. Too many good attack rolls by Doom and too many poor defense rolls by the Adventurers (like poor Iceman, who whiffed on his first two rolls!).

I decided Iceman and Beast were a bit too delicate for this mission, so I swapped them out and instead went with: Thing, She-Hulk, Iron Man, and Human Torch.

Third attempt:
I beat it! Awesome! :-) The heroes won on Turn 3 of Round 4 with a 2 life She-Hulk and a full life Thing remaining. Human Torch pulled out before using his Supernova due to being taken to one life from death. Iron Man died at the hands of Doom. Doom probably overextended himself after scaring off Human Torch (who started in the castle) and killing Iron Man (who flew in next) by engaging She-Hulk and Thing alone in the startzone. He managed to hit the pit-trap once for She-Hulk, and stole powers once, from Human Torch, but only had the chance to use Flame On 4 (against Human Torch, which I now realized I played incorrectly! Whoops, this win might've been an even easier one if Human Torch had stuck around long enough to go Nova). Iron Man managed to kill one Moloid and a Doombot before Doom killed him, then Thing killed Doom in the startzone, but it was really a Doombot! So with two Doombots down and a one wound Doom against Thing and She-Hulk, She-Hulk leaped over and started pounding on Doom. Moloids surrounded her and Doom pit-trapped her, but she prevailed with a 5 skull roll that Doom whiffed on! Doom had the Latverian Life Spell, but it failed to save him. The last two Doombots failed to save him as well (I rolled a 3!). The Heroes saved the day and I can continue to the next scenario (no equipment glyph boon, though. :-( ).

This one is tough, as all but Iron Man died on my team, but it can be done especially if you kill Doom and he isn't saved by the Doombots' decoy.

Here is a map bio.
The home and headquarters of Doctor Doom, Castle Von Doom overlooks Doomstadt, Latveria. It is a castle built in the 16th century by a Latverian noble, Count Sabbat. Castle Von Doom is highly fortified with extreme measures such as Doom-Knights, Warrior Robots, human Latverian Guardsmen, Guardian Robots for detection and protection. Also included in Doom's stronghold are stunners, shock fields, gas emitters, and manner of traps. Any visitors should enter at your own risk!

Here is the Scenario Story.
Defeated, the Mole Man sulks. The Moloids have all gone into hiding and he is left alone to deal with the Fantastic Four and their allies.
“OK, Moley, what were you doing with Reed’s portal? A guy like you wouldn’t know which end is up on a machine like that, so what gives?” Johnny fires at Mole Man.
“You are correct, young flame-brain, I have no interest or desire for such machinery…” Molevic responds.
Sue sensing there is more asks, “But?”
“But Von Doom took my baby and threatened to kill her if I didn’t get that silly machine for him. You are too late, the Moloids have already left to take it to him.”
“Well, we’d better head to Castle Von Doom to stop him. Reed, where is the Fantasticar? Reed? Reed?” Sue calls frantically.
“Did I mention that the Moloids had a guest with them? No, well by now I am sure ‘Mr. Fantastic’ is enjoying his deluxe accomodations in the dungeons of Castle Von Doom!” Mole Man retorts as he laughs.

Sue calls to Johnny and Ben, “Round everyone up, we need to hurry. Reed needs us. Doom has him!” Ben growls, “What a revoltin’ development!”

Good, but a few thoughts:

1) Who's "Molevic"?
2) Moleman has a baby?? :wtf:
3) You should consider slowing down the moments in which Sue realizes Reed's not there anymore. It feels a bit rushed right now. Slow it down and space it out to let the reader feel the impact of the moment more.

1) Molevic is the name of the Ultimate Mole Man, got my universes crossed.
2) It is a veiled reference to the giant Mole Creature from FF #1. I take it its too veiled.
3) I am gonna have to rewrite that anyway because he gets kidnapped in the next one not here.

Some minor content change due to tone of conversation changes.

"Eeeeeekk! I'll tell you where it is if you let me go." Mole Man squeals.

"Stop squirmin' and start talkin' or I start clobberin'." Thing grumbles as he tightens his grip.

"OK, *cough* OK *wheeze*, I'll tell you. I had my Moloids take the portal to the one who orchestrated this entire ruse. They are on their way now. If you hurry you may catch them."

"And just who is this "one" short stack?" Johnny Storm cuts in. "And you better make it quick before my buddy Rock Face here smashes you into Moleburger."

"DOOM! Doctor Doom he is! And he is waiting, but mind yourself, for there are many spies and traps that lie ahead in the land of Latveria."

"You said 'waiting.' Presumably he is waiting for the Negative Zone portal that I built. Is that correct?" Mr. Fantastic asks.

But just then, an immensely powerful light flashes from the staff of Mole Man and Thing's grip is loosened just enough for the wily villain to slip away and disappear into the dark abyss that is Subterranea.

"Ahh, let him run. Coward. We got better things to do anyways." Ben breathes heavily as he tries to mask how difficult a task it was to contain the slippery Mole Man for so long.

After following the near non-existent trail left behind by a band of Moloids carrying the Negative Zone portal, the Adventurers reach an opening in the side of a long tunnel. On the other side, they view the wide blue skies and rolling green hills of the plains of Latveria.

"What a beautiful castle down below in the valley, Reed. Oh wouldn't it be wonderful to renew our vows there?"

"Sue, you know I love you, but you also know that castle is in fact Castle Von Doom, home of the most sinister man on the planet. I hardly think Victor would make us guests in his home. Besides, I have other, far more pressing concerns on my mind." Reed replies flatly.

"It was just a thought, Reed, goodness. Most men would jump at the chance to vow their love to a beautiful woman in such an exotic locale," Sue pouts.

"Come on you two, now's not the time. The Moloids are dead ahead and they are almost at the Castle door. We better hurry if we want to stop them. Flame On!" Johnny slashes ahead like a fiery sword, calling back as his friends follow close behind, "Last one there has to clip Ben's toenails this month!"
