The 13th was good but not any longer. Hopefully we get something going. I hope that November isn't so busy.

Good luck! I hope people can make it. You should register yourself, and are there going to be people who you play with normally attending? Once you get 2 people signed up, I'll add you to the map!

I think somehow you replied to the wrong topic bunjee :)
Sorry to hear that Juicer, changed it around now. Hopefully we'll figure out who's hosting next month sooner then later and start working on a date soon. Doesn't seem like October is going to see a big turn out either.

GameFormat
The first two games will be premade armies, one of which will be melee only(range units and specials will have range 1), and the last two games will involve a draft.
The first two rounds will be the standard 45mins and the second two will be an hour to give 15 minutes for the draft. Which will hopefully be enough for most people to draft. I would suggest having an army in mind and then keep a few alternative choices if you aren't very quick at drafting.
You're not allowed to have the same unique in both premade armies and for the draft standard rules apply (no two uniques on the field).
For the aftergame it would be great if someone has castles handy as I haven't managed to procure any yet. It will be up in the air until there is an idea of who would even be able to stay. It would be nice to do some kind of halloween themed game maybe monsters vs humans or something.

So far there is zero response, but i'll let anyone who is thinking about coming know that it is very possible there will be several younger kids who aren't very adept at heroscape coming. I've yet to confirm with their parents, but if they do come i'll probably be trying to make things simple. Maybe create a pool of 400pt armies and let them roll the d20 for choice before each round. Just fyi

Haha it finally clicked you're talking about the overall gameday *smacks forhead*. Well I should have 6 including me, guess i'll PM you so the final tally of players will be correct.

Not a big deal, not like I had a chance to shop around for a good date. I just went with the 21st because of the heroscape gameday thing. It would be cool if we can figure out a host for next month now and try to work out a time when we can get at least 10people. Any takers?
Nov. Saturdays:

Where would the games be held on November 18th?

Well we could either do it at someone's hotel room or inside gencon. I think my house is like 30mins away and i'm always happy to host.
For Gencon there should be free tables where we could set it up and then we'll have people getting to see the game in action. Not sure if i'll shell out the money for it at this point, but it would be a viable option for some of the people already planning on going.

Well I gave myself some handicaps, but I ended up keeping the trophy anyhow. Picking the armies from a pool worked out very nicely as I had most of the armies well balanced. I let my opponent pick my army and direct my attacks, but I still won each round. Insane things like killing a DW with a rat and dund nailing his stare 3 for 3 etc just seemed to keep changing the game in my favor.
I'll post a picture of the setup later, but I didn't take too many photos especially because of the ages of the players. Everyone had a great time and it was very exhausting on my part, but worth it.

From about 10 minutes into play when I made my rounds through the end of the game Jotun ruled this little hill.
