I wish I would have caught this earlier. McDonald's happy meals for August 2010 had Batman figures, 1 of them being the Batmobile pictured below. It looked like it was the right size for Heroscape.
I'm not impressed with the paint scheme, but I think this should be easy to do a repaint. I just ordered this off of Ebay to try this out. Since this should be pretty widely available, this may be a good chance to come up with a C3G Destructible Batmobile card. May be fun as a throwable object in a Batcave or city street scenerio.

I just had a hilarious mental image of a bunch of grown men running into McDonalds, shoving kids out of the way, and ordering tons of Happy Meals!

my sons have two of them, one of which doesnt do the exterior shell popping off function any more. I may have to keep the broken one after all and just superglue it into place. I'll have to check the scale out again, for some reason it seemed a bit on the smaller side when we got them.

Yeah, I have one of those myself (...what, it's a Batman toy, is it weird for full-grown men to buy children's meals to get Batman toys!?), and thought it might work for HeroScape. Fits on four tiles without much spillover. More-or-less in-scale.
Not sure how it would work, though.

just found the broken one. the blue batman inside it is roughly the same size as the c3g batman figure. I think it'll work. good find! :)

Once I get mine, I will repaint it and see how it comes out. Because it is black, it should not be difficult to repaint. I'm thinking making it flat black with a greyish blue cockpit (washed with a black wash).
My real interest here was to come up with a cheap option for a Batmobile that anyone could get. There are better models that are in scale, but they are aweful expensive.

well personally i'm thinking it would move around 8 or 9 and would stop on water type tiles and have a defense of about 6 or 7 with no attack. batman would be able to enter or exit the batmobile if he were within 1 square of it, and could only enter or exit at the begining of his turn once an oreder marker was revealed on his card. also, if the batmobile were destroyed i believe, if batman were within, that he should receive some sort of auto wound if not altogether destroyed.

Umm, you're talking about Swamp Water, right? Because otherwise that's part of the rules for all characters...
