Ya with my army: DW9000, Nikita Agents, DW8000 the principle obviously was to use the Nikitas to mitigate the glass jaw effect. In practice there was absolutely no room for error and my army simply did not have the depth to withstand assaults from forces that outnumbered me 4 to 1.

I honestly can't think of a worse possible 400 pt. army, though 400 points of pure arrow gruts would be close (and might actually lose to T&S).

There is alot of synergy going on there Jormi. I actually like it though I have never actually tried it. My worst army ever was probably when I tried the all soulborg army DW9K, 8K, 7K and zettians. More than 400 points, I know. It didnt last very long. But it was fun to try. Oh and when I tried out the new cyberwolves, they just didnt perform at all. I was pretty dissappointed.

Yeah, but it has no range, relies on the d20 and needs to move units together that don't bond.

definate downsides, but the wolves are very mobile and get a nice boost. More powerful and defensive than the snakes, only lacking the supreme mobility.

Ok so I play my brother and, instead of a normal draft, we play where he picks a 2 space, then I do. Then he picks a squad, then I do. And the armies had to be good or evil. I. of course, was evil :twisted:. of course i try to show off by "killing" him with a much less point consuming than his. Here is my army

Needless to say, i lost. Pretty badly. What COULDN"T lose to that army???Although near the end of the game I had one deathreaver that killed about 4 squad figures and 4 wounds on Paramenio.

For awhile we were using the draft wizard (with synergy set) to pick our armies randomly for us. It got us all playing things we don't usually field so it was refreshing but would at time produce some real stinkers. Can't remember any right off hand though...

Actually I've had the Deathstalkers get Maul 3 times in one game it was so fun. My friend didn't think so though. :twisted:

Sure there is. If you had an army that was so bad, but you tried it to see if you could win.

For example I tried all Cowboys against all ninjas. It was fun.

Oh, and to stay on topic, I tried the all-Deathwalker army (with Deathstalkers) against a combo 4th-10th & Marcus army. It wasn't even close. (In hindsight, Deathreavers would've been a much, much better choice than the 'Stalkers.) But hey, it was fun. :lol:

This is actually mine, too. They're quite the team. I played them against my nephew after a crushing defeat for him so he could regain his confidence.

I've recently decided to try to check off every HS units on my "played" list, so I've been playing a lot more lower-tier units lately. A couple weeks ago I finally broke out Pelloth and the Deepwyrm Drow, and while exploding your own figs isn't the most competitive use of them, it's certainly one of the most fun. :twisted:

Would've been more thematic with the Tagawa Samurai instead of Raelin, but I really like that Raelin helps counterstrike and gets the Archers' defense to 4. I won a 3 player FFA with this....

Add in a lot of stupid mistakes (stupid lava map!) and bad dice rolling, and that gives you last place.

I always take a fun army like the one above to a tournament, mainly because I will roll badly either way. At least I have an excuse for coming in last place this way. It would be pretty embarrassing coming in last place with Q9, Rats, and Raelin. :lol:
