Aquilla's Alliance? Thaelenk Tundra? Volcarren Wasteland? If I had to rank ten items, not including exclusives:
1. Aquilla's Alliance
2. Thaelenk Tundra
3. Volcarren Wasteland
4. FlagBearers
5. Master Set 1
6. Wave 6
7. Wave 4
8. Wave 3
9. Raknar's Vision
10. Ticalla Jungle

The Search Button seems to be hard for people to find...but it is free.

I was tempted to pick [ "OTHER" ] because there wasn't one for [ "ALL OF THE ABOVE" ]
I see the Thalenk Tundra and Volcarren Wasteland showing up on eBay often - the problem is they sell for betwee $50 and $80, which I certainly can't afford.

I voted "Aquilla's Alliance" All the others are always on eBay, but many times there is not even a AA for sale, and when it is it can go for $80 - $100, more than any other set. Ticalla Jungle is a close second in both cost and availability. All the rest are pretty hard to find , but sometimes you can get part of them. The wave 3/4/6 Hero packs, ROTV figures, & Jandar & Utgar flagberarers are easier to get than the rest of the parts of the expansions, but still not as easy as a normal online or local store. A lot of times the only way to get stuff is in a bulk sale.

I think Volcarren Wasteland is really hard to find. Aquilla's Alliance doesn't interest me as much, so I have no idea about that set.

The hardest, or most expensive? Almost everything can be found on ebay, but the priciest stuff is Wave 4, pound for pound.
Last year you could get an entire wave for 50 bucks, and now individual squads got for that much.
Everything has gone up in price, but sometimes you might get lucky.
The Aquilla stuff was tricky to find the whole time...but I think the most expensive large expansion for auction goes to the Tundra. People don't seem to want to pay for the jungles as much as the snow and ice.
I feel bad for any new players out there who want to track down this stuff now, as the prices have gotten to where you might be able to only afford one of each terrain pack...and the really cool maps require more than that.

Nothing is really hard to find, just way to expensive.
Aquilas set is about $80-100
Jungle around $70s
Tundra $60-80
Flags $20-50
Lava $40-70
But it seems a booster of Aubrien ( Aubrian ?) And Gladiatrons are rare to find, even at insane prices. Saw a booster NIB being sold for $150, dont know if it sold. Just the Archers or Glads are going for about 25-30 each unit

Just think.....at GenCon 2011 (http://gencon.com/2011/indy/default.aspx), every Heroscape event will have either a Tundra or a Lava or both available to win....all for a fraction of the current eBay prices.
Get your group, get you badges, get to GenCon!!! Not only will you have a chance to secure one of these hard to find items, but you will also have the distinct pleasure of interacting with so many great people that make up this community.
See you there!!!
EDIT - don’t want to be off topic...I voted Lava, it has been harder to find for longer than anything else on the list. TRU was the first major chain to turn away from ‘scape and their exclusives are still among the most coveted items.

I voted Aquilla's Alliance. Even shortly after it was released it was tough to find.

I think tundra is harder to find than lava - Tundra goes for $100+ regularly, while lava for $50-60. But still AA is by far the hardest to find. I have seen Zelrig alone get ACTIONED/BID up to $40 on ebay, and I haven't seen a whole set online for awhile.
I may go to Gencon just to try and score some sets. However, there may be another way to get them closer by...
Origins Prizes ;)

Having just gone through the expensive buying process of getting this game going for my family, I voted for Ticalla. I got NIB RttFF 45 bucks, Volcarren used for 65 bucks and TT for 60 bucks used. Tically I have bid for several times and it went over 85 bucks each time. I will get it sooner or later, but it's been the toughest. I see the others go for similar or a little higher to what I paid most every day.
The hard part is setting your limit on what you will pay and sticking to it.
I didn't vote concerning the waves/figure expansions as I haven't really looked into them. I got a few sets that I know are popular like a few 4th mass and such. Don't know about Aquilla (sp) and it might be the hardest, I don't think I have even seen that for sale.

The Master. For a single unopened figure from Gen-Con, good luck. You will have better luck repainting a monk... peace

Heads up.. Volcarren NIB on ebay right now for 60 bucks buy it now, not an auction.
I don't have anything to do with it, but I already spent my limit on HS this month lol. That's a pretty good deal. Probably will get snagged pretty quck.
Edit.. Gone now. Hopefully to somebody here. :)

I voted Wave 4 but it is probably AA. I was lucky enough that about a year ago my parents went to housemouse and got me the set for like $70-80.

I saw a set of Wave 4 with a heroes pack and 2-3 of each common go for somewhere in the $375 range on eBay about a week ago. Usually when you buy in a relative bulk like that the price per drops some, but with shipping that lot sold for about $49 a pack. So that gets my vote.

Actually, the Wave 4 packs usually go for around $80-
$90 each. I'd say that and the Tundra are the worst.
