The Heroscape Codex, a fan-created magazine for Heroscape enthusiasts, is full of strategy articles, customization tips, new house rules, maps and much more. If you enjoy Heroscape, either as a casual pastime or as a regular obsession, the Codex will have something you can use to make your game more enjoyable and keep it new and interesting.
The second issue of the Codex is now available, and as a special added bonus, the Codex now has its own website. You can download the most recent issue at the new site:
www.hscodex.com
While you're at the site, you can also download the first issue, read a little background on the magazine, and get a few hints about next issue.

I guess you mean "grammar". Was that a test?
English is not my mother language, but I've run several PBeM RPG in English and I am a professional scriptwriter. I think I could do the job, or try to do it, at least.

Thank you very much maxdemain30. But it should be note that most of the contributor to the codex are members from HQ and I think all have transfered over here. Not to leave anyone out because everyone is valuable in their own way, Truth, Annerios, Karkadinn, Sydcombak, Grungebob, Lord Raidor, Oogie Da Bruce, UPC, CupidArts, etc all do their part to make a magazine we all can be proud of.
We are always looking for help. As noted on the site all work is contributed by the HS community. Send Imax an Email or PM here with an idea of your skills and we can set you up. If you have an idea for a story go ahead and submit it on the codex site.
Issue #3 is going to another set forward in material and product. Glad to here you are looking forward to it so are we. Issue #3 is in the production states right now. It will be released on July 1st.
Thanx for your interest. This kind of feedback is what makes doing this mag worth while.

I posted this elsewhere, but it was the Codex that led me to read the HQ. I have owned Heroscape for a while and even followed the .net site for a while, but while I was following it all anybody seemed to be working on was converting Star Wars Minitures for use with HS. I saw HQ at some point and it seemed way too chaotic, like 90% ordinary conversation and 10% HS material. I saw an announcement on gamingreport.com about the codex and checked it out. Really great stuff. After reading the 2 issues of the codex, I decided to give the HQ another chance and discovered some really worthwhile threads. To sum it up, I guess, the Codex brought me in, and I have no doubt that it had the same effect on many, many others, as well. Fantastic work guys and I, too, eagerly await issue #3.

Hey, you guys may want to update the site, specifically the links section. HQ isn't around anymore. :D

It's time! I need editors, and I need 'em bad. Lots of 'em, too. If you can spot spelling errors, fix grammatical eff-ups, tweak for readability and style, and format text according to a set of guidelines, please drop me a line.

I know some of you have said in threads here and there that you could help; I just don't remember who all those people are, and I hate to just start emailing people stuff without permission. We're kind of in a hurry because I'm a slack bastard who should have done this stuff a week ago, so please write soon!

Wait till you see issue 3!!!!!
Atmospro worked on all of the layout (minus one page) And it totally rocks my face off as a result. I can't hold a candle to his work. Not to mention his coming on board has resulted in him tracking down alot of people to write phenomenal articles.
