Custom Wave D1: Valkrill's Shadows
As Valkrill's Shadow engulfs all of Valhalla into chaos,the allied Valkyries start to wonder if they can even win this war. The hordes of evil flow into Valhalla at an even greater rate then ever before, Only one hope remains....Jandar,Ullar,Einar,Vydar and Aquilla must ally with Utgar to stop Valkrill. Or does Utgar have plans to end this war or perhaps make things worst then they already are......

Custom Wave D2: Hordes of War.

Utgar has become enraged by Valkrill's Shadow. Utgar has called forth the Devils of the DnD Worlds to do his bidding. Valhalla is now the warzone of the Blood Wars and the War for the Wellsprings. But the allied generals take this as an opportunity to recover and to grow their armies. As evil is busy with evil,the allied generals prepare to look for the remaining Wellsprings. But will they be caught in the clashing of the opposeing forces of Utgar and Valkrill? Or will the nightmare come of Valkrill and Utgar uniteing under one army to win the Battle of all Time! The War of the Hordes has come!

Well I'm currently working on some units for Ullar, unfourtanatly they don't fit with what your working on. I'm making some witches and wizards at the request of someone. If they had fit in I would've offered them. Well good luck, but be careful not to rush. I don't know how knew/old you are to custom units, but to make an entire wave by yourself is a major and time consumeing project.

Hey guys.just a quick update. I have finished the powers and all the stuff for 2 sets, the heroes and Warriors of the Darkness. I have only finished 1 of the cards. I am working on my 500-point 1 unite army contest entry right now,will be finished with it soon. Then I will work on the other cards more.


I will be adding more to the The Last of the Shadows wave soon.

Hey guys just a quick update. I am holding off on this untill we have some more info on Wave D3. Main reasons,so we can find out more about the new general and the figures of the wave.

I will say this. Most the ideas I had are out the window.

I am keeping 2 of the old figures that I picked and I have changed the Frost Giant to a Storm Giant for Aquilla.

Sorry for the triple post. Just a small update.

I am waiting to see if anyone makes a Valkrill card that I can use. I have gotten a mass load of ideas for Valkrill. So I will be making more once a card is made. I am dropping all my ideas for now. Everything will be changed. My first set will be mainly Valkrill now. I am not keeping anything as of right now and I am redoing set names.

Hey guys. Sorry I got behind. For now on I will slowly make my customs,because I am making my own sense no new Heroscape will be made anymore. If you can donate items for my cards,that would be nice,but no need. I will buy most of them online. I will finish D2 this weekend. Well maybe at least get a few up.

I'm truly sorry to Invade your fine thread, but I've read forums for days, & I can't find a D&D custom thread about my question. After reading most of the threads in this section, I decided that you would most likely be able to answer this for me.

Being that WotC opened the door for D&D figure usage, I feel that any of us should be able to use every D&D figure we can find to continue the heroScape line; in Their honor! :lol:

Surely there must be a formula they used to convert D&D card to heroScape cards. I say, lets ride it out until they quit makin' figures.:twisted:

Last week I eBayed a whole bunch of the Lords of Madness wave, 'cause I like the figures.

When WotC stopped producing the D&D Minis line, they agreed to let DDM guild take over the line, it's still going rather well. DDM guild still produces sets of DDM cards for public download, they even went as far as to make stuff for heroScape conversions to DDM.

Why can't we come up with a formula that will allow us to use every DDM figure ever made with a heroScape card???

That's what I want; I want to be able to use every figure WotC ever made; adapted to heroScape rules, with a heroScape card. A lot more people than will admit have D&D figures already. It's not like everybody's gonna spend a lot of money to make a new heroScape set out of these.

I just want people to be able to pick & choose freely among any D&D Mini that they happen to like.

I just got a Draegloth Abomination, a Swordwing, a Crownwing, 2 Arcane Portals; $2 each for the figures, $1 each for the Portals. Free Shipping!

Last time I looked(last week) there were 135 pages of D&D minis on eBay X 25 listings per page.

I just got my Next Wave (figures above) for $8, all I need is cards. WotC didn't get my money & I got some new figures that rival anything Hasbro ever made for the game.

Any Ideas on a formula? I'll gladly help round-up any pictures that are needed for the new heroScape D&D cards.

Sorry I did not see your post. Sorry I am behind. The best answer I can give,being I am not a professional,is to look at other cards that have already been made. Get some ideas. As you make ideas you can get them to work with official figures. If I am not mistaking,there is a thread that has some ideas on how to make them work with official figures.

Also sense I am back into heroscape after the "end". I will me finishing this up. I will keep making more,but they will not be many at a time. As you can see it has taken me a while just to get back in the mood. I can't promise when it will be up,but they will be finished.

I just meant that they gave us reprinted D&D Minis to extend heroScape; & I, for one, have made it my mission to use every D&D Mini that I can get my hands on, to make the figure count large enough to never need another thing from them; as far as heroScape goes.

I will get this done & I'm not in a hurry. As long as there's eBay & little plastic men, I'm going to make sure that heroScape-type cards are produced for every D&D Mini there ever was & made available for every heroScaper at no cost. All you'll have to do is get the mini, paint it, & print your own card. You'll be able to pick & choose what you want, when you want & modify the stats & abilities to your liking. It's Your game to continue, their Loss to not.

In my eyes, this has only just begun.

Any help in design would be greatly appreciated, though not required. I have a couple of friends that have offered to help & they don't even play the game. They think it would be worthwhile to help me with this; just because it's the right thing to do.:lol:

All thoughts & ideas are gladly welcomed, giving everyone the opportunity to help produce everything that you've always wanted but wasn't available.

Also think there are a few WoW minis that would make incredible Large heroScape figures, no painting involved. Just make the card. I've been workin' on an Aquilla large figure set that includes the Harvest Golem & the Bog Elemental(?) & they only go for $1 each, already painted, but that's another project to go along with the rest of the others.:lol:

Bein' as it's Christmas, I'll wait until after the first of the year; then I'll make a thread & post some of what I have so far for public scrutiny.

I'll need to post them to Photobucket, to show them here; so I'll probably make my account there; custom heroScape cards, so there'll be a couple of places y'all can download the finished product for your own set & we can all grin while we're playin' with our new stuff & they're whinin' 'cause they don't make enough money.

I am here to say that Aquilla's Hope is my last D&D custom wave. I will finish D2 and D3 as soon as possable.

I will be making 1 last thing. Not really a wave,but more of a master set. This set will end my D&D customs.


I have added how many figures each general will get. The only reason Jandar has 6 heroes is because I could not find a good figure combo to make a squad for him.
