Flying Pirates?

There have been many threads about pirates. They don't really do anything for me, but I know many of you would be willing to be keel-hauled for pirate figs.

Anyway, I was looking at the pictures of upcoming wave 6 Einar kyrie on this thread:

Has anyone else noticed that these guys are VERY pirate-esque? No shirts. Long hair. Bearing cutlasses. And best of all - nice pirate pants!

And now that I think of it, those wings look very parrot-like . . . . .

Has the HS design team sought to answer the call? Avast!

Pirates aren't bad, but there are a lot of other things I would rather see: More Vikings, War Elephants, some type of cavalry (Cossacks, Knights, Huns, Scythians, etc.), treant/ent, a bard-type hero, a phoenix,....and the list goes on...

That's right. Speaking of which, no way are those kyrie wielding cutlasses. Those are CLEARLY katanas. Cutlasses are shorter, wider, and the blade shape is all wrong.

I still want some pirates, though...

They are the worst figs in Wave 6 IMHO. On a side note, I'd laugh if Hasbro releases Wave 6 over Halloween, with the ghosts and Zombies and all.... I think it's a distinct possibility.
