Undead Alliance Bio - In the thickly forested rural lands outside of Gotham City a sprawling marsh is hidden in the mist. The green fog the swamp exhales adds an air of foreboding to the surroundings, chilling many a traveler to the bone and sending him on his way. Perhaps that’s a good thing though as, according to legend, this swamp is the not so final resting place of something terrifying indeed.

Why is it I thought the map was called Grundy's Grave and the scenario was called Undead Alliance? It certainly seems more appropriate that way ...

Shouldn't a competitive map have start zones?

I thought A3n and myself already responded to this. He is updating the title tonight.

Shouldn't a competitive map have start zones?
Where this map should have a start zone, A3n must have accidentally left it out (he is fixing it tonight), there is nothing in our rules about such things. We don't have many regulations in the map department. I think when we all started it, we wanted to remain more artsy than attempting to be official. With that said however, I think that it is a good suggestion and should be proposed, but if any set number of start zones finds its way into the proposition, it is likely to be shot down.

Updated name & start zones.
Hopefully the link should remain the same.

On the third level. The only swamp (not the water-type swamp but just the regular land swamp stuff) piece by itself is weird. The level before there is nothing there and then on the third level it says to put a piece there. On the picture of the map it looks raised up, but if i put a piece there now its the same level as the 7 piece swamp-land next to it.

Has anyone played a traditional game on this map & developed standard-looking start zones?
If so, please share. Many thanks.
Blargh! Nevermind. Found them in the download.
Keep up the good work!

Actually if you look, you will notice that there are the smaller start zones for the scenario, but there are also in those back corners of the map, 24 first level hexes all grouped together. So you could have a more traditional startzone tournament map if you wanted.

The download gives 24 hex start zones that curve from the back edge toward the center of the map. It's a really good looking map & KidScaper and I will set it up for sure.
It looks like Clancambpell has agreed to use some of the C3G competitive maps at this (http://www.heroscapers.com/community/showthread.php?p=1133451#post1133451) tourney.
Keep up the good work, all.

Hey A3n, I recently built this map and realized that the highlighted tile is floating due to it being exactly one space over to the left from where it should be. The problem occurs in the map instructions as well. When you get a chance, could you please fix this? Thanks. And don't worry about the scenario PDF and picture, I already checked it and it is fine. Thanks again. :)
