Okay after my tourney was over on Sat a few of us stuck around for a fun large map battle involving a castle (3 in castle 5 out).
Well being inside the castle I thought it would be fun to run:
Taelord
4x Roman Archers
I also thought it would be fun to require at least 400 total points of the in castle units to be outside the castle (my Taelord and S's Nilfiem). Well Taelord didn't make it, he kinda got killed quick. I thought no big, but then I soon realized that getting up the castle wall to hit someone was going to take forever.
After 6 turns of doing nothing but moving and not really helping my allies I decided to goof off and send a squad towards the door (at first I was just going to jump off of the side of the castle, didn't think my teammates would like that) and then I got the bright idea (as I'm sure so many others have) to pull a peek-a-boo attack with the archers.
At first I thought I might be able to pull off a volley but no luck, so when my turn came I opened the door shot at the enemy (killing a Minion) and proceeded to shut the door again.
It was a fun moment for me spending most of the game just TRYING to get to a point where I could see the enemy and I thought I would share.
As for the rest of the folks I can't remember much but there was also a very funny situation involving Saylind, Nilfeim and Dan (in a very odd position) and something about a Giant trying to do bad things to my castle doorway.
