When I first saw the title of the thread I didn’t know what to expect. I’m glad to see this was about the Silver Surfer and not the Schutzstaffel.
(Of course, if there were some SS units it would give Cap some other Nazis to beat up on besides the Skull)

If he's landed he's not flying is he? ;)
The way I interperated this question it was with regard to the last movement space, when the figure is forced to land. Figures with flying "hop" more than they fly.

To re-iterate:
Original Question: Can the Silver Surfer land on lava and not die?
Correct Answer (as already given): As long as he rolls (at least) a 20.

As long as he rolls (at least) a 20.Yes, I like to aim for a 21 or 22, just in case I fall short a little bit, I still have a shot at hitting that 20. :D
I honestly don't understand why anyone would have asked this question or thought anything beyond what the rules clearly state. I am always shocked by how little people pay attention to the rules.

You have all mis-interpreted the question. He is not talking about a Heroscape molten lava tile. He is talking about real lava!

Of course, that begs the question: Is the OP's Silver Surfer even alive? Because, technically speaking, he would have to be actually alive for him to die.
(BTW: The above is all sarcasm. I know perfectly well what the OP meant, but, seeing as how the question has already been answered, I just decided to make a little sarcastic comment responding to quozl's post:p.)

But would he have to be alive for him to "not die", as the OP asked?

I'm just going to give you the benefit of the doubt here and hope that you were adding some additional sarcasm onto the post rather than just killing the purpose of sarcasm entirely.
As for the original question: :rules: (gotta love that smiley)
