Unzipping HCC

I downloaded the HCC, but Winzip won't open it. Is there an alternate way for me to do so? Or (if it doesn't breach any rules of etiquette or legality) could someone email it to me unzipped?

Not sure if it works on every computer but I can usually open the zipped folder and cut-paste the files into a new folder. Also you may want to check if your version of Winzip is up-to-date because it should open the folder. You could also look for some other programs such as 7zip:

I have not used 7zip in many years though so you may want to read up on it to make sure it is safe and stable. If it still does not work for you I expect someone can probably send you an unzipped version.

Thanks. I just needed to upgrade my Winzip I guess, because it unzipped for me.

Now, however, I get a runtime error when I try to run the program. It says, "Could not find file 'C:\Program Files\Heroscape Card Catalog\hcc.dat'.

Oh you'll need to move some files manually into the Program Files folder. Try this:

Go to the Start Menu and Open MY COMPUTER

Open Local Disk C

Open Program Files

Drag the Heroscape Card Catalog Folder Into the Program Files Folder

-or-

Create a Folder "Heroscape Card Catalog" and Drag Your Unzipped Files There

Run Set-Up

ALTERNATELY it would probably work if you had told Winzip to unzip the entire folder to Program Files.
