The Hobbit

I did a search on Hobbit and no dedicated thread popped up, so I figured it's safe to post this.
I'm a big fan of the LotR movies and the book The Hobbit, I've read it like 8 times.
I was looking at my homepage and this (http://movies.msn.com/movies/article.aspx?news=489166&gt1=28101) caught my eye. I for one would love to see a live action Hobbit movie. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Currently reading the Hobbit. Read it once in the 5th grade, and saw the movie, that was...hmmm 7 from 12= 5 add 7 and 4... 11years ago, when I was...11 years old! haha. Anyway, I had heard rumors of a live action version of the Hobbit. If it is ever made, you can bet I will go and see it!

I read The Fellowship last year. The Hobbit, in my opinion, is more entertaining, but both are good. When I like a book, I tend to read it every few months, The Hobbit only takes about a week. I haven't gotten around to the others, I've been addicted to the Forgotten Realms.

I'm going to read the other two in the trilogy this summer though.

;) Good for you. The other books are for older readers, and deal with more serious themes. I like The Hobbit too, but I remember way back in High School hearing someone call it "just a children's book." Although its a good one!
