While idly cruising miniatures sites, I ran across the Grendel (http://www.scotiagrendel.com/grendel/index.html) line of 25mm miniatures, which appears to have a number of pieces that would be useful as scenery additions for HeroScape. Unfortunately, the pictures of the various items look as if they were scanned from a black-and-white print catalog, and without figures in most of the images, there is no real sense of scale. A sampling of the product images:

They also have figures that might make interesting customs -- a Norse giant (unfortunately, temporarily discontinued), several dragons (including a zombie dragon), an earth elemental, a fire demon, and others.

Those are cool, but they are outside the USA and I noticed that their website has not been updated since 2003. :wtf: Proceed w/caution.

They are great-i especially like the Burial Mounds; would make for a excellent graveyard scene!

Ditto - Beowulf is also what I thought of first.

BTW, the little guy in my avatar is from my Grendel custom card (he is a repainted wingless Mimring). Yeah, I know the dragon's name in Beowulf wasn't Grendel (he didn't have a name), but I liked the name.
