The new starter set and next wave will have miniatures that were originally made for D&D Miniatures. We know some of you have rebased and used some of the original D&D Miniatures for Heroscape, with your own custom conversions.

Besides use in RPG, D&D Miniatures has it's own rules for a quick one-on-one battle too. WotC has licensed the DDM Guild (http://www.ddmguild.com) to manage the rules and stats. The DDM Guild has published some guidelines on how to make Heroscape miniatures with a matching D&D Miniatures sculpt legal for DDM. Want to know more? Check out our website (http://www.ddmguild.com)!

I think he's looking for folks to check out D&D minis, and to get converts from here, to there.

Welcome! I've never gotten into DDM, but, if I read your post correctly, putting Classic 'Scape figures into it sounds pretty cool.
