Every adventuring party can benefit from healing and protective spells. There are two classes that perform this function. Paladins are not as capable in the benefits they provide others, but are more capable in combat. Clerics tend to stand back somewhat, improving the performance of the other party members.
Paladins
Sonlen: The only Paladin capable of healing. Sonlen can benefit any party of adventurers with his toughness, ranged attack and occasional ability to restore. 160
Thorgrim: The only Paladin other than Sonlen that can truly benefit any party of adventurers. Not only does he strengthen the resolve of those near him, but the gods grant that he will continue to be of help even after he finds the grave. As a Human Champion there are several companies of men that will eagerly accept his command. 80
Concan: Jandar’s heroic leader of knights. It is impossible for them to fight beside him without benefiting from his power. 80
Hatamoto Taro: Though his powers are weak, they yet serve the heroic Samurai and their Ashigaru skirmishers. 130
Parmenio: Granted the gift to protect the Greeks in battle, Parmenio does nothing for his fellow heroes. 90
Empress Kiova: Like Parmenio her gift is extremely limited, with only the Kyrie followers of Einar finding aid. 90
Clerics
Kelda: A powerful healer who can be the difference between life and death. Timing can be everything when the forces of evil attack. 80
Ana Karithon: Though unfamiliar with large and huge creatures, this battle medic is very efficient at protecting and keeping her heroes fighting while she cares for their wounds. 100
Acolarh: More Druid than Cleric perhaps, Acolarh intervenes with the gods in an attempt at preventing the death of Elves in the party. Those who follow not the gods of the Ancient Woods can expect no help from him. 110
Raelin: Instead of healing, Raelin has perfected the art of casting protective wards, covering those near her with a shield against attacks. 80/120
Kyntela Gwyn: Like Raelin eschewing healing, Kyntela Gwyn’s protective arts are rudimentary covering only the few Elves near her. 20
