So, How many of you AZholes would seriously be interested in an event in Safford?

In order to get a space to game, how many would be interested in chipping in to rent someplace? We have NO game stores in town and all the meeting places charge for room usage. I haven't checked in to rates yet as I don't know how much work to put in to this.

My wife has given her blessing to do it at the house, but space would be limited going that way.

FOr those who don't know where Safford is, here's a google map showing directions from PHX to Safford:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=Phoenix+AZ+to+Safford+AZ&ie=UTF8&z=7&ll=33.137551,-110.895996&spn=5.931857,9.195557&om=1
and one for Tucson:

Use the event registration to show your interest/disinterest.

Due to lack of serious interest, I have not found a venu for this event. Sorry guys, I have to cancel this one...maybe in the future.

It's about a 3 and half hour drive from the Valley of the Sun to Safford--that would be for the east valley of course. Anyone on the west side of the valley/in the central valley, would have to include the drive time to get out of that big mess :P

Sandra is going to provide a nice prize gift certificate for each of the top 5 Oct 21st tourneys!! That's right!! Now the catch is you have to get a fairly accurate account of how many you think are showing up to your event and post it here. The top 5 will get a $50 gift Certificate from HouseMouse. We can assume Texas and Treetown will be a no brainer, but three other events are going to get gift certs too and we need to know wich ones fairly soon.

I fwe can make this thing happen, we may have a shot at a HM certificate 8)

Just found this site today! Next saturday is here next saturday already!! I'd be riding up from Vail,AZ and need some specifics as to map possibilities and army point limits. I'd be hard pressed to load all armies into my saddlebags so it'd be swell to only bring what was required. i'll be chacking back soon....
