Glyph Bio - Superspeed is the ability to move at a rate of acceleration and maximum speed in excess to that of normal optimal human capacity. Some individuals who possess this ability may have been born with the meta-gene, while others can acquire super-speed through alternative means. A drug known as Velocity 9, for example, has been known to grant (http://www.heroscapers.com/community/showthread.php?t=28660&page=4#) normal human beings superspeed for limited periods of time.

That is funny because my printed card doesn't have this. This error must have occurred when the art team did some updates after the release. Thanks for pointing it out, and I am sure the Art Department will handle it when they can.

Haha, I just printed out all the cards I didn't before, and I noticed it while reading through. Not a big problem, won't bother me. :p

"...add 2 to the Move number number." Of who? (I get it I jsut think you should clarify, and remove the second number).
I needed some glyphs for a scenario and I saw that flaw.

"For each Unique Hero you control, add 2 to the Move number number"

I dunno mate, that seems pretty clear to me.

Um.... it says FOR EACH UNIQUE HERO YOU CONTROL.

So that'd be.... every unique hero you control. ;)

Wait, I got it wrong! The way I read it, if you control 5 unique heroes, everyone gets +10 move! :brickwall:

I'm pretty sure we based this wording closely on official glyph wording.

WOuldn't it just be better to say "Unique Heroes you control add 2 to their move number" or "Unique Heroes you control may move an additional 2 spaces". I just didn't get the wording.

IAmBatman

I don't disagree - like I said, it's based on official glyph wording, but I'm starting to wish we'd gone with more of our own wording. :-P
What can I say, though, we were pretty new to glyph design at the time. :reapershrug:

Yeah I thought all of the wordings should be cleaned up whilst looking through the glyph books to print them.

This one was finalized a long time ago though, and while I don't personally find the wording ideal, I don't think it's "incorrect," so I doubt there'd be any traction for changing it.

None of them are incorrect, I just think they could use some clean-up.

If we based something on the official language and people don't like it, my feeling is they can take it up with the officials, not us.

Hey I just realised this Glyph says 'add 2 to the move number number.'

OMG that is soooo horrible. It doesn't need the 2nd "number". Can we remove that please.

Cheers

I'm guessing it is part of the migration to a new location, but when I try to download the "Picture for the Glyph: PDF" I get a "drawing error" and then no glyph pictures, just a mess of pixels.

(I post here as an FYI and to be sure that it is indeed part of the migration and not something wrong with my computer. Thanks, again, to you all for your excellent work.)

This is the same issue you had, but I don't get. Maybe I will have to make the file myself, however I am going away so it will have to wait until the weekend.

Can someone from the ART TEAM please get these stickers up online?

I am in the process of changing all of our work to the new server, and currently, we don't even have stickers for the World's Finest glyphs.

I have been asking for over a year to get these stickers done right. Originally they were too small, and now they don't even exist. Who do I have to pay to get this done? What can I do? Who will answer this call? and When will it get done?!?

I was talking about that link A3n. The stickers were not sized correctly, but now the download doesn't even work. Something about a "drawing error". I can wait for the update though..... :|

The stickers are sized correctly & the link works perfectly (but slowly for me . Actually find all links to the c3games server very slow in loading - but have no issues FTP-ing to it.)

I don't know about these glyphs, but I printed off the glyph stickers for Fan Four the other day with Lefton4ya's PDFs and cut out the Cosmic Control Rod and it fit perfectly. I actually cut up an official glyph and there was enough stickiness left over that I just stuck the CCR glyph into its place and it stuck there and fit oh so nicely. :-)
So great job on that one at least, guys!

If theses stickers are sized correctly now, that is great. Thanks.

Bats, all the other stickers have been spot on for me too.

Yes, I fixed them with just a little stretching on the PDF. Not very clean but it works until we can update them. I still haven't heard anything from GreyOwl on getting the Photoshop files for the cards though.

he wouldn't have photoshop files for them. That's when he was using his publisher solution. I'll do the world's finest then.

I don't mean to editorialize on this one, but shouldn't it be "Superspeed" - one word? That's the spelling used for the power. Food for thought.
