I like the way this comic not only makes fun of DnD but also of many other things we know and even of itself. And most gags are funny even if you have never heard of rpgs *smile*

The lord Tyrinar (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0131.html) was either Tarquin's boss at some poinat, of Tyrinar is simply an alias for Tarquin.
