I am a newbie at Heroscape, and honestly am getting involved now because of the addition of the D&D Heroscape set.
I have been searching through the forums and downloading the custom cards that are based on D&D miniatures. I know that some of these are not fully balanced or playtested, but collecting them for possible future use.
I am wondering if anyone has ever considered making custom cards for the Iconic D&D characters, like:

It would be awesome if WotC would choose to make an expansion with these established characters.
They have updated stat cards here. (http://wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/mi/20090430) Most of the above characters are in the "All Stars" download.
I'd also like to add a HUGE thank you to all the people who made the Marvel Super Hero custom cards for Heroclix models. I have been downloading them as well.
