Special Attacks cannot be modified. Can I apply extra Glyph range to Braxas's hangover breath to smite my girlfriend?

(First post to the ((new)) board. Did use search funct. for keywords, etc.)

I surprised her with the Lindesfarme upgrade today, and she is STOKED!

I'd say no. The glyph's description says you can add to the figures Range Number if it already has a range of 4 or more. Braxas has a range of 1.

The glyph only lets you add to the figure's natural Range Number not to powers that add a range ability to a figure.

the breathe attack is a special power not an attack so it can not be modified either

Augray is correct. The only range that is increased is the Range stat (which must still meet the requirements of the glyph.) Range listed in powers is never modified even if the power does not specifically state it's a "special" attack.
