Greetings,
Major question from the far side regardings the "4" part of the swing line ability of Spidey and Venom:
When you move 4, must it be limited to exactly 4 spaces and must they be in a straight line away from an adjacent figure, or, can you just move around it and remain engaged?
TIA!!

You may move up to 4 spaces so you can move less than 4 if you want.
It does not need to be in a straight line.
As long as you remain adjacent to the enemy figure you stay engaged.

Technically the card says move four spaces. It never specifies moving away from the engaged figure.

Move is always given as "maximum" move allowed. Just because a figure's move is 5, for example, does not mean that you can't stop after 3.
A simple rule to go by around here is to "Do what the card says, not what it doesn't." If you choose to stay engaged with a figure, you may.

You may move any number of spaces between 0 and 4 in any direction, ignoring elevations per the text of Swing Line. Also, while it is true that you remain engaged if you stay adjacent, Swing Line allows Spider-Man and Venom to ignore leaving engagement attcks, you feel free to disengage all you want.

OK, now Im confused. the way you put it(I think) it that he can only move in a straight line, just like Mimrings fire line. I have never played that way, so which way is "right"?

It doesn't have to be in a straight line - he can move 4 spaces any which way he wants.
