If your trying to compare this to katrina, don't bother it is not that bad.

lots of small businesses were damaged, many homes were wrecked, 600 roads damaged or destroyed. the loss of life was very low as a direct result of the flood. I don't know about rapes and murders since the flood. there are still a number of people in shelters and FEMA was supposed to be here last friday "inspecting" the situation.
