Reviving a great thread from HQ regarding Ray Harryhausen customs from the range of great sci-fi movies and stop-motion photography.
First up is the giant walrus from the movie Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger (no, not Rocky III). I found this figure at Michaels for under 4.00 USD:

Here is a resin figure based on the movie that shows that the figure scale is very close:

The figure takes up 4 spaces easily and overlaps a little onto a fifth but a little fudging can make it work. Trying to come up with some stats for it.

Yeeaah! Awesome! Not my favorite Sinbad movie, but the walrus scene was memorable! Can't wait to see some stats!

Newb,
I have the Centaur. How did you get the Walrus off the base. I've been having difficulty w/that.

Ninth, that Walrus was not on a base. You can buy animal figures at Michaels of varying sizes and I happened to find a walrus and a big elephant (picture of that later.) I put the picture of the resin walrus to show that the scale of the plastic one is very close.
HEH, I agree about the movie not being the best but that scene was cool...heck any scene with the stop-motion stuff is cool, imo. :D

You're going to need to get your TT sets out and do some more photos!

And the Minoton was robbed of any true fighting fun!

Nice Walrus. I don't know alot about those old films, but Michael's does have a great selection of very realistic pvc animals, most under 5 bucks.
Good snag, Newb. I can't wait to see what this behemoth is supposed to do.

Target also has a line of PVC animals and dinosaurs that are pretty nice. They even have a dragon and some yeti looking figure.
I finally got Kali a couple of weeks ago, so I have it to use with your card. That figure has become rather rare lately and was selling for over $100 on e-Bay!
I got one for less than $10 because one of the blades on it had been broken off and glued back on(and it did not have the original box). I jumped at the chance and managed to get it.
Here are the Harryhausen Figurehead and Children of the Hydra's Teeth figures I use for H_E_H's inventive cards:

I'll have to take some photos of Kali when she is mounted on her HS base.
That figure is scary.
Thanks for reviving this awesome thread, Newb!

Can't wait to see the rebased Kali, Annerios. I'm lazy (and don't trust myself with a dremel) so it's still on the original base.

H_E_H did you make the Hydra's Teeth or did you buy them

Fallen Templar. I've never been happy with a decent version of the Hydra's Teeth. Particularly the planting of the teeth ability.
Annerios's figures are from the Dark World Board game. I have those as well as some nifty Skellies from GW.
I am very happy with the Figurehead though. She's one of my favorite customs. Annerios should post his more official looking version. Ullar If I remember correctly.

:passout:
Wow great steal! I paid near $30 for my Kali figure in the box. And eventually TWO swords fell off!

 Those swords are frail. This one had a clean break, so it was easy to glue on. I may smooth the line over later with putty and repaint the blade.
First, I'll need to get it off the integral base without breaking more blades off!
It was a great e-Bay find.

It was a great e-Bay find.
And is it not perfect scale for Heroscape?!? Worth the money I paid for that aspect.
