Remember a few months ago when we had that shill fkmasteryoda pimping this game? Well Scott Nicholson has just posted his video review of it. It's a must watch.

In a nut shell the game is a Multilevel Marketing Scheme AKA Pyramid scam run by Dechipher. Just take the 7 minutes to watch and learn.

Man the first minute is priceless, if you know how kind Scott normally id in reviewing games even those he dose not like.

I CANNOT believe a Pyramid scheme is needed to sell the game, but then again if it sucks that bad.....

He is 100% right on everything in the video.

It's a pyramid scheme.

The Drop ruins the entire game (it is EXTREMELY difficult to lose fights when you have it).

And it's just a numbers game: no real flavor at all, just seeing who can boost their starts the most, 3 times a round.

I printed out a couple demo decks and I want my ink and paper back. :(

If you squint, the card backs look just like the old Star Wars game. sigh

I cannot believe they secured all of these licenses under the pretense that they were going to release a ccg promoted only by word of mouth. It's silly. It's sad really.

Next...IF you are going to release a ccg that is targeted ONLY at gamers hardcore enought to track it down via word of mouth...etc., etc., my guess is, and this is just a guess, but my guess is that you can afford to make it a little more complicated than War. I mean, if they had done what they should have and released this mass market, I can see limiting it a bit in depth of gameplay, but c'mon, you're expecting someone that learned any of the old Decipher games to pick this up? I mean, Austin Powers seems a bit more complicated (and more fun) than this.

Funny/Sad thing is...I seem to remember, at the tail end of the Star Wars days, it seems like prize support was starting to turn into some sort of marketing type scheme, Decipher Bucks or some such crap. I mean, Bernie Madoff these guys are not.

It is especially if you know how kind Scott can be in his reviews. Even if the game is bad he's still civil about how he reviews it.

Fight Klub SUX and the pyramid scheme is just slimy. I think that is why it felt his wrath.
