Wow, other people like one of my favorites: Agent Carr????? He's not even on my bracket! My whole goal in this is to get Agent Skahen and build a fun agent army with those two.

I should have picked my favorites instead of the Utgar figures I thought were more popular -- Marro Warriors, Deathwalker9k, etc

On the other hand, the Jandar figures I thought other people liked but have no experience with -- Snipers, MacDirk, did well!

Minions. I love both the sentinels and the minions, so there you go. I think the minions are slightly better, especially since in a 4th mass build KoW > Sents.

It is really fun palying an army with both minions and sentinels, especially if there is a move glyph on the board.

I'm disappointed that the Romans aren't getting a lot of attention. Recently, I have been playing Roman armies, and experimenting with different combinations. My favourite so far:

x2 Roman Legionnaires 100
x2 10th Regiment of Foot 250
Marcus Decimus Gallus 350
Ne-Gok-Sa 440
Me-Burq-Sa 490

The 10th Regiment next to Marcus with his Soldier Attack Enhancement, with height and Wait Then Fire is deadly. I really do like the flexibility of the Romans' bonding in this army, because each of the Warlords do something different, and you can adjust to any situation in this manner, whether it be to lock down range units with Ne-Gok-Sa, eliminate a high defense threat with Me-Burq-Sa, or position Marcus in a way to boost his soldiers' attack. I can't wait for the re-release of wave 1!:twisted:

The Romans will get my vote, if the Minions have a good lead on Carr.:D

I went with Marcu, as there aren't many other cheap filler figures to throw in there. He's actually pretty decent comparatively for 20 points. Except when the d-20 is rolled a bit too high, but that's how things go. Still not a fan of the jumping off height for damage that's allowed, but he still is worth his 20 points and has won me a few battles.

For the Chance/Luck of it to be sure. Wasn't choosing ranks in this contest based on chance to begin with?? Some root for the tourney bombs, some root for the OG's, and some root for the New G's. Personally, I like the sculpts and any notable memories from games played. We had to choose who we thought the majority would vote for! Many used their inane knowledge of this game to hypothesize likely outcomes and I'm sure several are faring close to a variable they predicted, BUT, everbody knows that even with the most confident choices luck must be on your side.

It's not like the other case where the D20 decided about advancement to the next level. They'll both advance anyway, so if the toss goes "wrong" it will cost anybody two points max (having them both, but in exchanged order).

In this case think a die roll is a bad way to score it. It you picked minions and carr, then you should get four points, if you picked one of them for either first or second, you should get two points. Just my opinion.
