Warhammer Figure Help

I saw some Warhammer minis at my LGS today and I liked them. I thought WH only did metal minis, but apparrently they also do plastic one. I am interested in the plastics ones. They are unpainted and I don't plan to paint them, but I think they would work well with my D&D minis as minion/grunt-types. They would also work well for old school Battlesytem minis.

My question is, how do I tell which minis are metal and wheich are plastic on the GW website. Are they in different sections? I say some that say in the description that they are metal. If it doesn't say are they plastic? Any help would be nice.

I have been looking through the WH armies section (http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/landing.jsp?catId=cat370003&rootCatGameStyle=wh). I am hoping that these are all metal and that the plastic one are cheaper.

At the bottom of each product page it will give a description of the contents of the specific product:

This box set contains 16 multi-part plastic High Elf Archers, including options for a Champion, Standard Bearer and Musician.

As a rule of thumb, most packages of GW WFB units are plastic (with some metal bits on occasion). Most characters and some big units are Metal (with some plastic bits on occasion).

Thanks. That's helpful. So I can't really be sure which is metal or plastic on the website. I guess I wll just periodically check what the LGS has in stock.

I thought the only range that had plastic were some of the Lord of the rings large army boxes (haradrim,rangers,gondorian soldiers etc..)

No, GW is moving towards being plastic only. Plastic is now much more common than metal.

You have to take off the double http section on the front, took me to his repaint thread.
