First! This one was an absolute no-brainer, IMO.

I voted for the 10th Regiment of Foot, because they're clearly better than the 4th Mass.
Not.
Sir Hawthorne's namesake is cool and all, but you all know who I voted for.

I regret that when I was filling out the form, I didn't actually put any thought into 1st and 2nd place. I just picked who I thought would be the top two. Thus, I have the 10th picked above NIlfheim.

I don't foresee any of the other guys beating Nilfheim and the 10th in this one.......then again i maybe wrong as always..:D

Wow, this is a pretty difficult descision...
Sir Hawthorne, 10th Reg., Nilfheim, yikes.
I guess I'm going to give it to the figure that works oh so well with my favorite figures, the knights: Nilfheim.
Edit: I just noticed something. The championship battle is on my sister's birthday...

why no love for the original dragon? Mimring's sculpt is awesome, and the Fire line attack is a very cool concept and ability.
Go Mimster, you'll always have a place in my heart, consistently putting a hurt on Drake V1 during the Master set only era

I'm amazed the Wulsinu don't get much love.
They're devastating.

I suppose that with beast bonding Mimring is all right, but he always becomes such a target for the enemy that he never lives long enough for his point value. If Mimring cost 130 points, I might be less reluctant to draft him.

I guess I just like dragons. Mimring's nostalgic value had me leaning that direction. The original dragon caught my attention in the Toys r Us display case. When I saw Raelin standing next to him it was all over, the obsession began.
But of all the dragons Nilfheim is probably the coolest. In playability, sculpt, and theme he just stands above the rest.
Ice dragon ftw.

I like Hawthorne though I don't even own him. Some day I might. But today my vote goes to Nilfheim, the second best dragon in the game! (The first being the one on Sonlen's shoulder!)

Under normal circumstances, I would vote for the hounds. Fortunately for Nilfheim, he's far more effective in-game then anyone else on this list and looks more awesome than anyone else on the list to boot, so I voted for him.

I don't have Sir Hawthorne either, but he gets my vote because he is such a cool looking figure. I think I'm going to proxy him in the game I'll be playing in a little bit, and see what he can do.

That's why Hawthorne got my vote...he provides more thrills and chills per game than any other character (think Marcu times ten!)

I love Mimring, but he just dies too quickly. I still use him a bit, though.

Wow, this one was tough. I would have gone with the Hounds, but after seeing they had no chance, I had to go with the 10th.

Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen (in this round, at least... way off on the other ones).

Except that I seriously thought the hounds would be more popular... fourth place, sure, but a stronger showing. And to whoever the one vote for the Armoc Vipers was, I'd like to personally give you a high-five (or maybe just some rep). Dare to dream.

I did not expect Nilf to be beating the 10th regiment. And by such a large margin too. I had them the other way around. Hopefully they will reverse soon. Go 10th!
Firemaster

It's going roughly the way I thought it would. I had Nilfheim way out in front, followed by the 10th Regiment, and Hawthorne as the only real competition to the two. It's still fairly close with time to go, so we'll see if I made the right choice.

I voted Hawthorne because my first choise Nilfheim is already so far ahead I figure there is no way he can be caught.

If everyone from this point forward were to cast a vote for Mimring for the sake of nostalga(sp?), we would have a real horserace. Go Mimring!
This has been great fun to participate in and watch, even if we're not that active on the boards. Thanks from PIL and Onjima for putting this together LordRaidor.

Hey Lordraider,
I just wanted to say that my brother (ICEMASTER) and I have been having a blast with BATTLE ROYALE. It is so much fun to watch the polls and tally up points. So I just wanted to say thanks for all you are doing to make this possible.:D

The Battle Royale is just like playing the game of Heroscape, you think you made a good choice and then fall short of where you expected to be. I voted thinking people were going to vote more on the look of the figures and I should have voted more on the playability of the figure. Example I don't think the 10th regement is even close to being cooler(in looks) than Sir Hawthorne or Mimring or any they are against and yet there in second place. I think that Nilfheim looking at it now, will probably be the overall winner. I voted Sir Hawthorne first and Nilfheim second. Least I will get one point out of this one.

Yea...not much of a contest here. Nilf then 10th.

I was kind of worried my being away this weekend (and not voting) would hurt Mimring's chances of getting 2nd place. Apparently there was a lot more than that standing in his way. Anyway, way to go Nilfheim.
"He could go all the way."
