Does/Has anyone played any of the iterations of Attacktix? (www.attacktix.com (http://www.attacktix.com))

I've been very active playing this up until a year or so ago, when it died a pretty painful death. Basically it is a cult classic with rabid fans now, albeit the fans are few and far between. There was, at a time, a large tourney scene, but that's gone the way of the dodo as well.

So, any players?

I have a few starters and boosters worth but never played the actual game. My nephew and his friends like to use the figures to play Star Wars (on Heroscape maps no less). :D

You know I loved the game brother. I'd like nothing more than a relaunch. Like that's ever going to happen........:(

Played with my son a few times. It was not one of our better gaming experiences. I admit it was fun to use the Gunship.

Well, I can understand that. Every time I played it with GreyElephant (except ONCE) he kicked my ass. Mercilessly. Then he sent his really very lovely (but GAWD-AWFUL COMPETITIVE) wife over to do the same to me.

GreyElephant and I are great friends from another day, and he is actually a 2-or-3 time World Champion of Attacktix, as evidenced by him winning the only Hasbro-sponsored events, Tixcon 200x. I've won some, and I am the current Star Wars Attacktix Champion..

(Let me check the trophies sitting here, Tim.....oh, I am the official "Last Reigning Champ)

LOL...what a farce...

I will say, though, that we had people come from all over the country to one of the Tixcons..I think 06 or 07..and it was great. I placed top 3, and GreyElephant won if I remember.

Does anyone want to trade for an entire collection of this game? I have multiples of most figures. There's got to be a couple of hundred in the box...

Anyhow, PM me if you're interested.
www.attacktix.com for what's out there.

I have a small collection of Star Wars, Marvel and Transformers.

I enjoy playing it sometimes. It is a fun dexterity game.
