Alright, I'm fed up with all these noobs starting (or necroing) threads about Marvel wave 1 because they saw the picture on housemousegames. :? This thread is just to provide a title to see on the main forums page so that people would stop making new threads about it.

Since there are so many other threads that talk about marvel, do you think they are any more likely to see this one than those ones?

This is to steer those people away from making or reviving a thread, because they'll see this on the main forum page.

Well, if it got locked, then eventually people wouldn't see it on the main forum page, now would they?

Sigh...
Have you forgotten how to read?

I'll try to explain it more clearly this time:
This is not a discussion forum, just simply a title to be seen. When the newbies who try to make a thread because they saw the picture from Gencon '07 see this title, they'll realize that it is not coming, and not make a thread, leaving this on the front page, locked or not. If another thread comes along due to stupidity or, improbably, the announce of the release of it, then fine, I can either make a new thread [in the first case], or let it sink back and die [in the second case].
Is that clearer for you?

If another thread comes along due to stupidity... then fine, I can... make a new thread.

So, in order to prevent thread clutter you intend to... create a bunch of threads that aren't intended to be read?
