All of these dogs are excellent figures.
I predict wire head will win, but my favorite is Silver Paw. He seems the most plausible to me. Well the lower robojaw is a stretch, but he's got a great look on his face and he appears to be the biggest to me. I like how both of his hind legs are robotic .

Who's your favorite and why?

exposed wires is by FAR the best.
One of the best additions to a soulborg figure EVER.

(Hex - how wide is your monitor set at? These past few polls really widen/scroll the screen. Would it look better if you entered the third one down to the next row, or maybe one pic per row?)

These guys should be called Roadkill...cuz it's obvious where Utgar picked them up and borged them out....The Valhallan Interstate. :D

I like all the sculpts and I didn't get the feeling of the figures size till opening the package. These guys are large. Cool stuff. Difficult to choose one but I like the Number one with the cool looking red eye! He looks like he just picked up a scent of those pesky Warmadillos and he wants a snack. :D

I'm all about those wires. They're all great looking figs, but those wires really do add something special...

I like #3 a lot, too, especially the wires at the back of his skull, but had to I vote for #1 because he's funny.

He's like "Two Face."

The cybernetic half of his face has a kind of goofy timid or scared expression, (with that the big round eye, and quivery jaw) while the "natural" side of his face just looks fierce. I played him against my daughter and I created a running joke with him, turning him one way, then the other, while talking in two personalities...

Righty: "Maul! Attack! Kill!"
Lefty: "I don't know about that... Those Ninjas have very sharp swords."
Righty: "Come on you pansy! We'll rip their throats out!"
Lefty: "But I'm scared!"

Well, it did make my daughter laugh a little.

The half n half characteristic is the ultimate in cyborg comic history. I really like him too.

But Silver Foot, paw, whatever really works for me. He reminds me of those dogs who have paraylsis in their back legs and have the training wheels to help them get around.

Like this guy:

Regardless if they can't work those back legs, they're happy pulling the trailer as long as they can still chase (and smell) tail!

I voted #2. I like his "completed" look. That and his metal jaw is awesome. I still think it looks like these are 100% robots first with wolf fur covering. It looks more like the fur goes over metal completely, than having any sort of cybernetic replacement parts.

Holy carp! I never saw them this way! That's a great way to look at the glass (1/2 full, 1/2 empty reference)!

I don't know why but everytime I look at the pictures or the figures it reminds me of Rusty the Narcoleptic dog....odd...

I don't know why, but that narrator's voice makes me think that's what Nether's voice sounds like in R/L.
Poor Rusty, poor Nether.

They gotta be robots :P

It fits with the Deathreavers too, being the exceptionally large robot rats they are.

I voted "The Silver Paw".

He looks the most evil.

When I first got these guys i just sat there looking at them for five minutes.

They're my favorite sculpts. (Next to Q9 and Brunak) :excited:

Wire-head gets my vote.

I was able to get my hands on the last set of these at GenCon.

I honestly wasn't that excited about any of the sculpts. I took a break in my hotel room and busted them out.

Then I went and registered for the win-a-wave that night.

Thanks to Buddy Lee I was able to run the first Glad/Blast combo in a tourney formatt.

I was doing great until I met RY in the final game.

Thanks again BL!

These guys are huge! The Swog Rider looked small compared to the Marro Hounds, but compared to these guys it looks like a house cat! And also something I noticed is that their heads seem to be varying sizes. Number 1's head is really small, number 3's head is too large. Number 2 looks just right. I like the way his robotic parts look too, cept that silver paw, but other then that he is my favorite of the three sculpts.

And I agree about these figures looking all robotic with fur placed over their cybernetic skeletons. At least on numbers 1 and 3. On 2 though, he looks more wolf with robotic parts attached.

I agree with this, but oddly it was #2 that first led me to believe they were robots in wolves clothing instead of cyborgs. If you take a look at his lower jaw, you can see it's exposed metal. What's more interesting is that it goes straight back and up instead of expanding to the sides. That looks more to me like it attaches to a single hinge in the back rather than two hinges on the side of the head. While the single hinge would be far superior for a machine designed to clamp, tear and shred something (like a pair of pliers), it would be a major hinderance if the poor wolf actually had to eat something.

And... now I've certainly over analyzed that....

I went with Half n Half. I dig his pose. It's as if he's locked onto a target.

Speaking of Soulborgs, I wonder what level of intelligence they have. I always looked at Utgar's Soulborgs as unquestioning and unthinking, Jander's Snipers as able to think independantly or even talk and Vydar's robots as the supreme high intelligence Soulborgs.

I've always imagined Utgar's soulborgs behaving like the animals they are while the bipedial ones on his, Jandar, and Vydar's side are all of equal or greater intelligence then man. They are called SOULborgs after all, so they can't just be dumb robots like the Battle Driods in Star Wars.

Love the wires sticking out of #3's spine. They must be his spinal cord.

Silver Paw all the way!

I never saw them as robot-first, wolf-second kinda creatures. More like the Six-Million-Dollar Wolf. Which is one of the reasons I like Silver Paw.

I like #3 the Robotic head with the wires coming out and back is really cool.
To put my 2 cents in I think of them as Robots in wolves clothing as well.

I picked the bottom, because he always seemed to be the leader. In the wave 9 hero pack I think they should make a leader dog with the utgar symal painted in bloodlwires on his side.

Anybody ever notice that if the wolves weren't partially soulborgs they actually resemble the "Hell Hounds" from Nazi Zombies on COD: WaW?
Just as menacing if nothing else.
