Not sure if this has been addressed in other threads, i tried skimming for it and didtn find it. ANyways.....
If a deathstalker rolls all skulls, does the ninja still get to dissappear?

They get to try since that is not a special attack and it is doing at least one skull. There is no defense involved with ninja disappear, if they fail the D20 roll, the ninja dies.

eep! I've been wrong on interpretations before, but here goes:
I believe the Ninja do roll for disappearing, but do not get the option to roll defense dice normally on the 1-11.
What do you think AmishBurrito?

Agreed; they get to roll the disappear.
The cards say if a skull is rolled to roll the 20; it doesn't say anything about whether or not you get to roll defense die until the disappear works or fails
Yep I say they get to try to disappear even if they don't get to roll defense.

Similarly, they can avoid "paralyzing" abilities like MBS's, James Murphy's, and Retarius... anything that doesn't say "Special Attack" and involves a skull rolled with attack dice.
After playing against my son's ninja's, anytime someone drafts them, I'm countering with some sorta SA figure!

Ah! Yes! I totally agree. Nice conclusions!
And it fits thematically well with their characters - tricky (yeah, I know their discpilined, but ninja are tricky nonetheless) and hard to pin down.
It's the cyberclaws the get the Ninja into trouble.

I think the confusion stems from the line "The Defending figure receives a wound for every skull." Maul doesn't just state that the defending figure can't roll defense dice, like MBS, but says that they automatically take wounds.
However I think that Dissapearing Ninja is supposed to work against it. The only problem is that I don't think it says "ignore all wounds" like the Microcorp Agents.

"Takes no damage" is how the tricky buggers get away scott-free.

Yeah that is a great argument in defense of Maul. I'm really divided on this ruling now. The Deathstalkers card is akwardly worded to me.

i am still divided too. The cards are in direct opposition of each other.
Deathstalkers: Defending figure recieves a wound for every skull
Ninjas: The Ninja of the northern wind takes no damage

The reason the Deathstalkers' card says "receives a wound for every skull" is that the # of skulls could vary depending on bonuses or penalties (which exist only on customs cards at the moment.) The ninja's ability is a parry to the Deathstalkers' thrust, and in the mechanics of HS basically negates the Deathstalkers' ability if successful.
My reading of the rules, anyway :)
Don't think it would be a bad idea to send this Q to Chris, though.

My question is, does the ninja's ability work while cyberclawed? Obviously, they can't move, so if they can't move, then does the part about not taking damage still apply?

no, on the card it states you have to end unadjacent to an enemy in order to use the dissappear

My judgement in this situation would be as follows:
Because the defender is supposed to roll defense AFTER the attacker (as stated in the 2nd ed. rule book on page 14), the defending ability trumps the attackers ability.
As in, "HA! I rolled all skulls! You're mauled!"
"Wait a minute, I rolled a 13 for 'Disappearing Ninja'. Therefore, that figure does not take any damage."
