For folks in the Seattle area, the Tullalip Walmart (north of Seattle near Marysville in Washington State) just got a big load of wave 1 guys in. Probably like 6 or more of each pack. I picked up 2 of each and the shelf was still packed solid. An employee was still putting them on the shelf when I arrived there yesterday.

HouseMouseGames.com has wave 1 at a reasonable price, plus it seems that a lot of Wal-Mart's have been getting wave 1 in recently (like our neighborhood Wal-Mart, Castles, wave 1 (newly arrived), and no wave 5 :?: )

I found 3 fresh sets of Wave 1 at one WM and another at a second. These were just put on the shelves.... I need Wave 5, not Wave 1! Arghhh!!! I got all the Wave 1 I needed back in Feb, 2005!!!

Mr Toys/ Toyworld in Brisbane had the Wave 1 sets on sale in their last catalogue for $9.99 each. You should still be able to find stores with stock.

I got all the Wave 1 I want. I'm grumpily waiting for Wave 5 now. Although ther are still some Wave 1 at my Walmart, I took one set of commons, it started with 5 set so there should still be some left.

I just got Wave 1 yesterday at my Walmart here in PA. I bought one of each and an additional set of the orcs that i'm saving for a rainy day. (They also had many (many) of the wave 5.)

Let me say, I love the Omnicron Snipers, we need some more of them.
