Predator 3: Can it Happen?

I love the Predator franchise. It has some very famous people in it ( i.e. ARNOLD SCHWARTZENEGGER) and has the most awesomest alien other than the xenomorphs. So... can Predator 3 happen?

It can happen if a studio decides to fund another bad sequel. Loved the 1st installment, but I could do without the 2nd.

I liked the 2nd almost as much as the 1st. But AvP killed off both series getting a new movie. If anything, AvP3 is more likely.

I really want to see A Predator 3. To me it seems more likely than an Alien 5 or AVP3. Predator is one of my favorite movies ever, so I'm keeping optomistic. I think we could see a Straight to DVD Aliens movie, just to coincide with the Aliens:Colonial Marines game.

Well, I've had a change of heart. I hope it will happen, but it probably won't. I do have a good idea for the plot:

A Predator criminal is exiled to Earth. He uses Predator technology to disguise himself as a human and commits heinous crinmes. He's arrested by the human police and thrown in jail, but escapes because he has Predator technology and weapons. The Predator law enforcement finds out about this and tries to kill the criminal. Meanwhile, the humans are trying to catch him and put him back in jail. Chaos and explosions ensue.

IF they were going to make a Predator 3 movie, I think they would follow
the plot of the last 2 movies: A predator on Earth is drawn to the hunt.
The Predator would wind up somewhere where there is a lot of fighting.
(I'm thinking this time somewhere in the Middle East.) Through the first
half of the movie, Predator would remain hidden observing the violence,
and figuring out which waring faction is the 'highest in the food chain',
and hunt them until there's one human left (Insert big name actor here),
That somehow through skill/ dumb luck is able to defeat the alien.

Then there's a big explosion.

:shock:...the Predator starts picking off muslims in you middle east setting. Muslims catch on to events unfolding and sware a Jihad upon the Predator. Osama and crew modify ICBM's for space travel and land on Predators home environment establishing themselves at every corner 7-11. Helpless predators are shoe bombed into oblivion under the guise of being foreign agressors. Predator homeworld populace begins to believe they are wrong since their own innocents are murdered so they turn on their own kind and try to befriend the shoe bombing Osamaites only to sign a treaty stating they renounce their infidel nature and pledge allagiance to Allah.

I had an idea similar to the one above. Predator is all about the best hunters hunting us, but they hunt quarry that are worth it, (or people who get in their way) not civilians in my opinion. I saw a site that asked how can we put Arnold in this. I drew up a pitch that allowed this but it doesn't need to be Arnold.
Basically we go into the future not this modern crap hollywood seems to be dishing out. No we go from the original movies. Say a spaceship is going out searching for life on other planets. The old captain (possibly Arnold) commands the crew to leave the system when a freak accident shoves them into Predator space. The Predators see a ship in thier homeland and since they want to remain secret they blow up the ship. During the destruction of the ship several crew members make it out on escape pods. However they land on a planet inhabited by predators. (That or the yautja send a lone hunter to deal with them your pick) The crew then tries to get off planet when their getting picked off one by one. A few brave souls discover that something is hunting them and it might have a way off planet. They then try to hijack a predator ship out into space. At least that's my view on what they should do, I did leave out a few details though. So in short yes they can and will make a Predator 3.
