I've been thinking of doing some 3D glyphs. I had, until this weekend, only one that I was thinking of. Here are the ideas I have so far:

The first one is a 2001 inspired obelisk glyph. I'd take one of the many unused MS glyphs that I have and glue an obelisk onto it. Sort of an alternate Brandar. It blocks LOS and could have either standard or scenario specific rules/powers.

The one that I thought of this weekend are castle specific. I had the inspiration for this one while seeing my son guard the castle flag with a melee unit. I was thinking how the guy needed a pile of rocks nearby to drop stuff on the invaders below. I got thinking and I will be putting a pile of "rocks" on another glyph. The rules I have worked out so far is that a figure standing next to the rock pile will be able to drop rocks on figures below. It will be a Range 1 Attack 2, modified for height. There will be an optional Range 2 Attack 1 that can be done as well. There would be a movement penalty for going over the pile. I'm not sure what to use for the rocks, if I want to go and find some pebbles, or something else.

Another that just came to me is a cauldron of oil to dump on the attackers. Not sure about this one yet.

I just thought these last two would make it worthwhile to put a melee unit up there. Thoughts, suggestions?
