I think if we're going to do this thread we have to work out a script first before the title.
What would be the main premise of the film?
I have to think that the five generals versus Utgar would work out well. Maybe the majority can be Marro. It would be cool if the movie started out with all six generals against each other and then as the plot thickened and Utgar really picked things up, the other generals realized that they needed to call a truce to defeat him.

November 13th, 2008, 11:41 AM
Or the basic alliances of ROTV set at the beginning, and the evolution and defeat of Utgar, the end would be an ambiguous scene shwoing another one of the 5 remaining generals turning his troops on the others ala Order 66

I also thought the coolest idea for a HeroScape movie would be all the generals racing to claim a Wellspring somewhere. Kinda like a serious-ish "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World." They work together and stab eachother in the back and squabble and fight and it would be animated by the same guys who do the Marvel DTVs and Kevin Conroy would voice Sgt. Drake and Steven Blum would voice Marcus Decimus Gallus and it would be freakin' awesome.
...
But that's just me.

Thanks HS, that was, indeed my point. I liked Keetacongoo's Top 40, with the play-on-words list of songs and was wanting to see the creativity of other 'Scapers with movie titles.
I don't want a HeroScape movie to be made. Granted it has the potential for greatness, but I could see it easily going the way of the Masters of the Universe debacle of the mid-80's: lots of costumes, lots of effects, zero plot.
Personally, I thought Tarnspotting was pretty funny...

Okay, I'm new, and this is my very first post, but I think that it would be very VERY hard to pull the thing off. The budget would have to be astronomical, about twice as high as the one for Transformers because of all the Soulborgs and Marro. They couldn't do it like Hellboy with ornate costumes and that sort of thing. It would cost too much, and I doubt it would get made: remember how much of a success Clue was? It just couldn't work.
But what do I know? It could work.. I guess.

Sgt. Drake Alexander: Chris Egan
Agent Carr: Lawrence Fishburne

Q10 and Raylin intercept Carr and capture him. Utgar takes matters into his own hands and sends Taelord, Mimring, and Deathwalker as well as a contingent of Zettians to destroy Alexander and Jandar's castle. Syvarris, Q10, Alexander, Raylin and the combined armies of Ullar and Jandar fight off Utgar's legions. However, Venoc and his minions betray Ullar, kill Syvarris, and unleash the Marro Swarm (described as a deadly army of space parasites) on the planet. The cruel Warden 816 runs it, and puts all the heroes into a chamber deep under the castle. Q10, however, convinces the Soulborgs who work for 816 to revolt, leading to a massive jailbreak. Q10 battles and kills 816 in combat.
The armies of Jandar, Einar, Ullar and Vydar march on Utgar's fortress in the desolate lava-wastes of Volcarren. They are quickly blocked by Venoc and a contingent of Marro. While everyone else is fighting the Marro, Carr engages Venoc in battle and wins, killing the snake-lord. They the go to finish off Utgar, who unleashes even MORE Marro on them. There is a huge battle, but Drake Alexander sneaks into Utgar's castler and finds the portal that spawns more Marro. He tries to destroy it but is stopped by Ne-Gok-Sa. The two fight, and Ne-Gok-Sa beats Alexander within an inch of his life. But when all seems lost, Raylin saves him from Ne-Gok-Sa. Here is a way better version of the movie with a rewritten plot (where Syvarris DOESN'T die) and a story that's much truer to the game.
HeroScape: The Movie
The Cast:
Utgar: Christopher Lee
Jandar: Liam Neeson
Vydar: Dennis Quaid
Ullar: Geoffery Rush
Einar: Jackie Chan
Sgt. Drake Alexander: Christian Bale
Agent Carr: Lawrence Fishburne
Taelord: Randy Couture
Syvarris: Orlando Bloom
Raelin: Angelina Jolie
Q10: Voice of Peter Cullen
Venoc Warlord (or just Venoc): Voice of Matthew Wood (Grievous in Star Wars)
Deathwalker 9000: Not voiced; just robot sounds
Kaemon Awa: Chow Yun-Fat
Ne-Gok-Sa: Voice of James Earl Jones
Tul-Bak-Ra: Voice of Mark Hamill
Isamu: Jet Li
First, there's an explanation of why everything is happening and the way it's happening. The story starts with Jandar and Ullar allied, with Vydar and Utgar wrking together with Utgar. It's at the beginning of the war. At this time, the alliance between the three evil powers relies mostly on Vydar's secret agents, led by the crafty Agent Carr; Einar's samurai, led by the egotistical Kaemon Awa; and Utgar's living dead soldiers, led by Taelord, Utgar's second-in-command. Jandar gets wind of a mole in Ullar's army. Jandar and Ullar send Drake Alexander, Raelin, Venoc, and Syvarris, as well as the Omnicron Snipers, to track down a mysterious wellspring of unimaginable power, but their true purpose is to find the mole. They are ambushed by mysterious creatures that appear to be zombies, but soon differentiate themselves by attacking with plasma weapons. Venoc reveals himself as the traitor and allows Raelin to be captured by the leader of the creatures, who calls himself Ne-Gok-Sa (This is written so that people who don't understand 'Scape will get it).
Sgt. Alexander and Syvarris go to Vydar for aid, hoping his notorious flickering loyalty will spin their way (discreet hint). Vydar agrees to help, and convinces Einar to betray Utgar as well. Agent Carr, Major Q10, and Kaemon Awa team up with Syvarris and Alexander to first lead the combined armies of the generals to destroy the notorious prison camp of Utgar's three lieutenants: Isamu, Taelord, and Deathwalker 9000. This place is hidden in the barren region of Volcarren, but when the armies arrive there, there is much swampy terrain. At the prison, they discover that there is a massive hive structure pumping out the strage creatures Drake Alexander dubbs "Marro" (because they look like their bone marrow is on the outside). They are confronted by Utgar's swarm of soldiers, led by the lieutennants, Ne-Gok-Sa, Venoc, ad the insidous Tul-Bak-Ra. Drake goes into ne-on-one combat wih Tul-Bak-Ra while Carr sneaks inside the prison to rescue Raelin, but must confront Isamu on the way. Q10 takes on Deathwalker 9000, and Syvarris goes toe-to-toe with Venoc. Lastly, Kaemon Awa takes on taelord. The good guys win. The end.

WHY did you have to resurrect this thread again?
Best question ever.!!!!!
Gorthan! Stop getting on my case about ressurecting threads! Your claim was legit about the Monopoly one, but NOT this! This is my favorite thread! I can't let it shrivel and die!
I was REALLY hoping for comments about the new plot.
Would you like comments or would you like us to be polite?

I would like polite comments on the new story. Save my conduct for the admins. I will fix that post, though.

Sorry, Gorthan and Onacara.
Gorthan, for yelling. That was rude of me, and I regret it. I changed the post, so it's a more polite rendition of my point.
Onacara, for misspelling your name. I didn't notice that A before you pointed it out on the Demotivational Posters thread.

I will no longer be posting in this thread. In order to ease the tension, I will start a new thread to keep my movie ideas away from Gorthan and Onacara's jurisdiction. I will no longer start junk threads and spam others. I will remeber to check when the last post was before I post. Also, I will think before I post.Goodbye, all. This thread will die its proper death.
