Range +4 Glyph

This might have been covered, but I couldnt find it. My fellow Scape players and myself are wondering if you get the +4 range with ALL figures, or just the ones with 'ranged' attacks. We have been playing to allow +4 range to every figure your or your teammates army (even if they have range of 1). This would allow the Knights to have range of 5. Is this the way it is meant? Or have we kind of not seen the real meaning/ruling. Any and all, please help...

It is with all the other Glyph instructions near the back. I read the Glyph Army Card I made, not the manual so don't know the exact page. Once you get the manual to the correct page, did you want me to push your eyes from side to side so you can read it?
