Probably the Finale from Symphony #5 in D minor, by Dmitri Shostakovich.
And I'm pretty sure this has been done numerous times already. ;)

Ooooo, tough one. I'll be back in a moment.
EDIT: Here it is!
Viva la Vida- Coldplay, it has a great rythm in the background, it's catchy, and the lyrics are very cool
Violet Hill- Coldplay, it's just done beutifully. Everything was executed great.
Teddy Picker- Arctic Mokeys, great lyrics, and a very cool bit of music behind it.
From the Ritz to the Rubble- Arctic Mokeys, the quick lyrics are cool, and the drums and guitar are simply excellent.
Balaclava- Arctic Mokeys, just listen to it. You'll see what I mean.
I will follow you into the dark- Death Cab for Cutie, I like me acustics. And the lyrics are very cool.
I will posses your heart- DCfC, it starts with just music, but it is very unpredictable, and does not get stale at all, but then the lyrics meld perfectly with the music.
New Slang- the Shins, it's very cool with it's fast lyrics and mellow beet.
Hey there Delialah- plain white T's, I liked it before it was popular. Like I said, I like me acustics.
Iris- Goo Goo Dolls, it's such a powerful song, and I love it. The really great thing about it is that I don't even own it, but I still love it.
Crazy little thing called love- Queen, I like how popy it is, but it doesn't over do it, and it's got a bit of rock elements in it.
Oh My god- Kaiser Cheifs, the music is very low, but the lyrics have punctuation, and the words themselvs are cool.
Dream on- Aerosmith, it's awesome. It combines softer parts at the begginging, to rock at the end. It's not heavy metal, but he gets a little crazy singing it at the end.
Creepy Doll- Johnathan Coulton, youtube it, it's awesome. He combines humour with wordiness (which I love) in all of his songs, and he does it very well. "When you fix a a snack the doll says it'd like one too."

Oh, as you can see, I go back and forth,
That's right! Side to side,
Back and forth, back and forth, back and,
Side to side.
Oh, let's start advertisin',
And make some real money!
Listen to me, Listen to me,
My children!
Listen to me, Listen to me, Listen, children,
Gather around, hear the sound of my voice,
There's girls and boys, well,
You're makin' a choice!
You can think for yourselves,
or you can buy all my toys,
Disregard mental health,
Jump around, make some noise!
I’d never lie to you
You know I’d die for you
Yeah, I love you too
So just do what you do,
Consume and gobble it up
Come on, show me some love
Or I’ll be blowin you up!
I’m lying through my teeth
To get everything I need
I’ll be what you want me to be
That’s why I’m dancin’ dancin’
Back and forth, Back and forth, Back and forth
Side to side
See me!
Stare into my eyes you’re getting sleepy
Feed me!
And then I’ll feed the hungry and the needy
TV
Is the loving eye of education
Free me
I’ll drag a burning smile across this nation!
Back and forth, Back and forth, Back and forth
Side to side!
I control you!
Back and forth, Back and forth, Back and forth
Side to side!
Listen to me
Listen to me, my children
Listen to me
Listen to me
Listen children
A million internets to anyone who's actually heard that song.

Of ALL TIME? *Groan*... Absolutely impossible! Well, maybe not...
1. "Anna Molly" by Incubus. The only song I can call my all time favorite. Just overall great. Lyrics, guitar, everything.
"La Grange" by ZZ Top. Awesome guitar!
"Youth Gone Wild" by Skid Row. Just a great rock song...
"China Grove" by the Doobie Brothers. Really cool combo of guitar and Piano.
"A Kiss to Send Us Off" by Incubus. Really different, but awesome.
"Jessie's Girl" by Rick Springfield. Really cool classic song.
And any thing by Incubus! I could go on...

I love DragonForce. I don't care about any technical stuff; I can really get into their ridiculously fast beats. That and they're just so damn cheesy and they don't care - and neither do I. :headbang:
some people, I would guess, would only know about Through the Fire & Flames because its on Guitar Hero 3.I know what you mean. Anarchy Club is another band (well, it's 2 guys) that most people probably only know because of Guitar Hero (Behind the Mask and one other). Which is good exposure for them, but they deserve more recognition than that. With the exception of 3 tracks which aren't really songs (but still fun listens) their entire 15-track CD is excellent. Anarchy Club has to be overall my favorite band.
I couldn't name just one favorite song, though. There are too many good ones out there. Heck, I couldn't even name my favorite Anarchy Club song.

It's not that they do not appeal to people of my age as much as we do not view that type of music as being "the best ever"...we grew up with bands like Iron Maiden and Metallica before the sold out so we tend to look at music a bit differently when it comes to metal.

Plain chants (Or sometimes referred to as Gregorian chants) were invented LOOOONG before organs were. And organs were usually used with madrigals, I believe. Plain chants didn't use organs because at that time the church found it offensive to have musical instruments during a service.

Lately it's been a lot of ELO for me. With Mr. Blue Sky and Hold Tight. Even though just about all of their songs are great.

Life After Death-KJ-52
We Are One Tonight, Meant To Live, Stars-Switchfoot
Inside The Fire-Disturbed

Because it's good music. My list of favorite songs has changed somewhat since I posted this, but it's still mainly Christian artists. It's nice to listen to music that has positive messages and clean language (that's not to say I don't like other kinds of music though).

You mean music filled with hate, negativity and bad language?

No, just not all Christian music. When I say other types of music, I mainly mean non Christian music. Even with secular artists though, I try to get songs that don't send messages filled with hate, bad language, etc. The song "Indestructible" by Disturbed is a good example.

Viva la Vida- Coldplay, it has a great rythm in the background, it's catchy, and the lyrics are very cool (it's just too poppy. They made it to make money, not music.)
Violet Hill- Coldplay, it's just done beutifully. Everything was executed great. (I still like this one)
Teddy Picker- Arctic Mokeys, great lyrics, and a very cool bit of music behind it. (still think this is a great song)
From the Ritz to the Rubble- Arctic Mokeys, the quick lyrics are cool, and the drums and guitar are simply excellent. (After about the thirtieth listen to, I still love this song)
Balaclava- Arctic Mokeys, just listen to it. You'll see what I mean. (really, listen to this song)
I will follow you into the dark- Death Cab for Cutie, I like me some acustics. And the lyrics are very cool. (I listen to this often)
I will posses your heart- DCfC, it starts with just music, but it is very unpredictable, and does not get stale at all, but then the lyrics meld perfectly with the music. (best song by a great band)
New Slang- the Shins, it's very cool with it's fast lyrics and mellow beet. (I haven't listened to it in weeks, but it is stuck in my head anyway. Great song)
Hey there Delialah- plain white T's, I liked it before it was popular. Like I said, I like me acustics (I got bored with it)
Iris- Goo Goo Dolls, it's such a powerful song, and I love it. The really great thing about it is that I don't even own it, but I still love it. (story of my life!)
Crazy little thing called love- Queen, I like how popy it is, but it doesn't over do it, and it's got a bit of rock elements in it. (I'm getting sick of pop music, but Queen is still the king)
Oh My god- Kaiser Cheifs, the music is very low, but the lyrics have punctuation, and the words themselvs are cool. (the Kaiser chiefs are declining in my mind, but this song is still awesome.
Dream on- Aerosmith, it's awesome. It combines softer parts at the begginging, torockat the end. It's not heavy metal, but he gets a little crazy singing it at the end. (one of my favorite songs)
Creepy Doll- Johnathan Coulton, youtube it, it's awesome. He combines humour with wordiness (which I love) in all of his songs, and he does it very well. "When you fix a a snack the doll says it'd like one too." (WATCH THIS! It's so awesome!)
That was my list in September. I added new comments in bold, and I crossed out songs I no loner like. I also crossed out the reasons I used to like some songs. Now, I am going to add a few songs to this list.
Carolina Drama- the Raconteurs. It is a great narrative piece
Solute your Solution-the Raconteurs. I have no idea what he's saying, but I like it!
Dark Blue- Jack's Mannquin. The lyrics are great
Club Foot-Kasabian. Awesome instrumentals
Stair Way to Heaven-Led Zepplin. It's Led Zepplin! What else do I need to say?
Seven Nation Army-the White Stripes. bum, bumbum ba ba bum...bumIt's interesting how the music I like now is turning more towards rock than the pop it brushed against then. Amazing what a few months can do.
