Okay. I've been screwing with this thing all day, and I am about to "decommission" my computer. So, before I "terminate" the "problem" I thought I would seek some help from those more knowledgable than I.

I am trying to generate a simple line chart in Excel. All it graphs is a line showing the percentage of work completed for a project. Along with the chart I want to print the data table in the form of spreadsheet cells underneath the chart. I can print the chart. I can print the data table. How do I get both on the same sheet of paper.

I have tried to print "selection". I have tried printing all pages. But, I cannot seem to get both the chart and the data to print to the same page.

Thanks for any help.

You might try resizing the chart or reformatting the fonts in the cells. I can't tell from your message, but you should have a lot of options here.

When printing in Excel there is an option to fit to x by y pages. Have you set it to 1 by 1 page? That might work for ya. You also might have to rescale some column/row heights so it won't be microsopic on the page.

You could also say when you make the chart to fit on the same page, instead of a different one.

There is a function in the line graph wizard to do just that.
Start your wizard up (it is ususally on the top middle next to view percent)
and go through the steps normaly. Once you get to step 3 of 4, there is a tab on the far right that says "Data Table". Check the "show data table" box and continue.

I hope this is what you were looking for

I hope this is what you were looking forquoted for truth.

It is a simple check box that plops a great looking and auto-fitting data table right alongside the chart.
