I'm a fleabit peanut monkey
All my friends are junkies
That's not really true
I'm a cold Italian pizza
I could use a lemon squeezer
What you do?
But I've been bit and I've been tossed around
By every she-rat in this town
Have you, babe?
Well, I am just a monkey man
I'm glad you are a monkey woman too
I was bitten by a boar
I was gouged and I was gored
But I pulled on through
Yes, I'm a sack of broken eggs
I always have an unmade bed
Don't you?
Well, I hope we're not too messianic
Or a trifle too satanic
We love to play the blues
Well I am just a monkey man
I'm glad you are a monkey, monkey woman
Monkey woman too, babe!
I'm a monkey! I'm a monkey!
I'm a monkey man! I'm a monkey man!
I'm a monkey! I'm a monkey! I'm a monkey! I'm a monkey!
Monkey! monkey! monkey!..

Drive safe everyone.
I'd post my checklist but I can't for 2 key reasons:
1. Too many secret things on it that I had to do...most of which shall be found out to much delight at GenCon by gamers
and
2. Too many things I had to do on my list - thank goodness I'm finally on the home stretch. I'll be driving one of our GC vans and we should all (as a company) arrive sometime around 7-8pm on Wednesday evening. Woot!

My schedule from now til the Con:
Now until 5 PM: Pretend like I'm working, but really read Heroscapers and worry about my Championship army.
5PM - 12 AM: Go home and eat. Paint some primer on my cornhole boards. Figure out what figures I'm taking to Gencon and figure out how I plan on carrying them. Worry about my Championship army.
12AM - 7AM Wednesday: Sleep. Dream about my Championship army.
7AM - 12PM: Mow the lawn. Take my car in at 9 to have my brakes checked. Worry about my Championship army and start thinking about how to include Runa in a couple other tournaments.
12PM - 5:30PM: Eat something. Pack my clothes and my figures that I want to take, and maybe some terrain. Finish painting Browns colors on the cornhole boards. Worry about my Championship army and decide what tournaments Runa is going to win.
5:30 PM - 2 AM Friday: Eat something else. Play softball for a couple of hours. Really start to worry about my Championship army. Find some time to sleep for a couple of hours
2 AM: Wake up to drive to Gencon. Meet the rest of the Youngstown scapers and get on the road. Worry about my Championship army.
6 AM: Stop at Bob Evans. Worry about my Championship army.
10AM: Arrive at Gencon for some mad gaming. Watch the Jumpstart tournament while worrying about my Championship army.
After 10AM: Mad gaming while worrying about my Championship army.

Killercactus,
If I may be so bold, I just wanted to throw a tip your way. I realize that you're being facetious in your post but I'd caution ya against holding yourself to TOO high of expectations for the championship. It's a huge challenge in such a large tourney to be in the top few, even. I'm certainly not implying that you couldn't win it all (you could!) but if you're like me you might get your hopes set too high and then feel crappy if your army doesn't meet your expectations (like mine nearly always fail to do, LOL).
I think you'll have the most fun if you just go and plan to enjoy the experience for the fun of playing rather than hoping to win anything. I don't know if this came across the right way but I just thought I'd throw that out there as something to consider since your post really seemed to focus on how much you're worried about your army. :)
Best regards and good luck - I wish I could play in that event!!! Gah!
One other note to any tourney participants, be on time.

Thanks for the tip! I know not to hold my goals too, too high... there's actually a little sarcasm in there relating back to the fantasy draft thread where Rychean, myself and some others talked about just having fun in the main event and not worrying too much about winning it all.
Truth be told, I'm trying not to set too high of standards for myself and just have fun, but at the same time there's that insane desire to prove to everyone that I can play and not just type out armies, strategy ideas and profess my love for Runa. Either way, it's gonna be a blast and I'm just looking forward to meeting a lot of other scapers. Only one more day!
