I don't know how many of you guys watch UFC, but things are looking amazing lately. Anderson Silva is kicking too much butt to handle. Tomorrow night is the big George St. Pierre vs. Fitch fight on PPV, or at your local sports bar.

Im a big UFC and MMA fan. The only thing Im disappointed in right now is there isnt a "foil" if you will, to Anderson Silva. He's clearly the best of the best. It would be nice if he had someone close to his level to give him some competition and make the "story" more intersting.

Otherwise, Im addicted! I used to be a huge boxing fan, but after seeing too many bizarre judging decisions I just couldnt take it anymore. To me it had become little more than wrestling without practice.

I just hope Dana White's ego doesnt affect the growth of the sport too much. He's done a great job getting it into a small percentage of households, but I fear his "F-You" attitude and constant rule changes might hurt the sport in the long run. We'll see. It's just my impression at the moment...

Yeah. I love UFC. Silva is amazing to watch fight. He's taken it to the next level. He shows that it is an art, but I agree. In my dream world, GSP would move up 10 lbs and take on Silva, but I HIGHLY doubt that will happen. I haven't seen many who could contend with GSP, but Fitch will be a great fight I think. I am really looking forward to seeing what Lesnar can do against Herring since they're both not very technical at all. Lesnar is just so massive... I am still elated from Griffin's defeat of Rampage. That was an AMAZING fight and both men fought nicely, but seeing how Griffin is my favorite in the UFC, I was elated.

Thats a very intesting idea.....having St Pierre (sp?) move up in weight....

I like Griffen too. I really had no opinion of him until the last UFC series. I like the personal interest he took in developing his fighters.
That is the same reason I also was a supporter of Tito Ortiz (please! no neg rep for that admission!) I know people hate him, but I was always put off by the arrogance of Shamrock's Lion's Den. Even from way back in the old days when he fought Gracie to a draw and then claimed himself "undefeated" in the octagon. Oh well, JMHO.

Here's hoping for a bright UFC future!!

Griffen's arm is messed up if you look closely, that's because he broke it in a fight when he refused to tap and the dude broke his arm and then Forrest kick his freaking butt. GSP is extremely athletic and I think him and Silva are the 2 most fun to watch fight, but both need a good competitor, so I am wondering if Dana White will propose they fight...
