Okay. So i was editing my myspace earlier today when a pop-up popped up. We have pop-up blocker on too, so i procedded to close the pop-up and now there is a Mirar toolbar on top of my IE browser.
Apparently, Mirar is a type of spyware, and i have no ****ing clue how to get rid of it. any help is greatly appreciated.

AdAware is a great free program you can find on the net. It doesn't block in real time unless you subscribe, but it will clean out anything you got when you run a scan.
I wanted the best protection for my new computer, though, so I bought Spy Sweeper, and it works like a charm. Real time blocking and everything.

download Spybot Search and Destory.
Once you have that running, update to newest definition.
Then run the cleaner.
Once your done immunzie your system. part of Sypbot
Then turn on the Teatime option that prevent any registry chanes from being made without your premition.

Just a sidenote- you may need to run all three if you are already infected. But choose one for your real-time protection going forward.
