Marvel rulebook misprint or unfinished card pics?

This is probably old news someone figured out a while ago, but I'll say it anyway. So today I was flipping through the Marvel rulebook, and at the order markers section in the Master rules, I noticed something funny about Abomination's card in the picture.... his defense is only 5! Then I look at the other cards in the 2 pics, and so is Captain America's, Doctor Doom's, and Iron man's. Then I look even closer, and Abomination has Super leap as a special power, but no Stomp Special Attack, and then just because, I check the other cards in the pic, and they all have the right powers. Then later on I look a bit more carefully, and notice Doom only costs 225, Abomination costs 270, Captain America costs 210, and Iron man costs 220. Now, I'm assuming this is simply a picture of unfinished cards, but why would they make the rulebook, and then later change some of the cards, yet leave the rulebook pics the same? A simple mistake in remembering to change the pics, a misprint, or a world domination conspiracy? Just thought this was interesting. Thanks,

maybe promo cards like the ironman card with differnent special moves.. it was easier to modeled the figures than making a balace card.

Sorry, I know this is a bit of a while since the last post, but anyway, I also noticed just yesterday that Captain America is has Super Strength, and it also appears (although it's not easy to tell for sure) that Abomination doesn't.

Edit: Thinking further, I've seen some other games do this, change things but not change the pictures, but I can't remember what now...

I noticed something funny as well. On the pic of Iron Man's card on page 9 of the rulebook, his defence is only 5, as Silver Surfer mentioned. But on page 13, Iron Man has his normal defence of 6.....wierd... Also, on the building instructions for Tribeca Labs, if, from your perspective, the ruin is on the left side of the map, you might notice that, in the rulebook, the instructions say to place one of the one-hex concrete tiles on the side of the map closer to you. Yet, in the 3-D pic of the map in the rulebook, the one-hex concrete tile would be on the side opposite from you.....wierd...

Thats really funny! (sorry if someone all ready said this) If you open the flap on the ROTV master set and look at Mimrings card you notice It says hit points instead of life, It says Doom Line Special Attack instead of Fire Line, and all the the specifics about him on the left side are all screwed up! The 2 other card specifics are are also screwed up.
