I don't have Wi-Fi yet, but I'm probably the best person that I know on this site that plays it. I've unlocked everything, have at least 2 stars on everything except for 2 cups which I have 1 star on, and have beaten 20 Fast Staff Ghosts. If I ever get my Wi-Fi up... good luck.

Well, I've gotten Wi-Fi up and beaten everything there is to beat in this game (except things like World/Regional Records), including Fast Staff Ghosts. My code is 3866-9320-0461.

Question about Mario Kart Wii online. I just connected with it for the 1st time the other day and played about a dozen times.

A couple days later I discovered the stats that the system records as you play more and more. It said my WFC record was something like 60-30. How can that be when I've only raced about 10 times?

Do you get a win for every person you finish ahead of in a given race and a loss for everyone ahead of you. So for example, in a 12 person race, if I come in 2nd is my record for that race 10-1?

No idea about the wins and losses but for me they did seem higher than the amount of times I'd raced.

My Wii is failing to connect with the wireless router, but when I get it working again I'll post my friend code.

Can anyone besides me and SuperEsenwein do the ultra shortcuts?

That is the only thing that makes sense to me as well. The last time I checked my record it was about 1100-500. At first I was thinking, "There's no way I've had 1600 races." I then came to the same conclusion you did.

I've never used the friend codes. Is it easy to put together a group race with your friends? Would anybody on here be interested in having a 'scapers Mario Kart hour sometime?

I'd be interested. You can either join up with a friend's Worldwide or Regional race, or you can create a room(only for friends) or join a friend's room. I think the instruction booklet explains it pretty well.
