Try 6 then you'd be right. 2 of each sculpt. Maybe some rise from the dead thing? Who knows.

Or they put 2 squads in the display case.

But then that leaves one pack incomplete doesn't it. Was that a theory or do you know something i don't Nether?

the zombies will be two squads per pack. Craig said that with the marrow, people had to buy 3 to complete a group or hoard. Now people only have to buy 2 packs to get enough hoards to be effective. Just a way to cut down on how many packs people have to buy. First time I've seen hasbro think of the cost for us. Nicely done.

I agree a squad of 3 is much more likely than a squad of 6. A squad of 6 would have to be ridiculously weak

Imagine 6 activations per turn with a squad they'd have to be slow (3 movement?) and/or ultra weak (1 attack)

Maybe it has something to do with a special ability they might have? Use 3 on the map and when one is destroyed you get to bring another back until you don't have any left to bring back. Or have 3 on map and when they destroy another figure they get to turn it into a zombie.
Who knows...we'll just have to wait until October!

Great game mechanics, Jandar! (I feel weird saying that. Isn't it sort of blasphemous? Uh oh! I'm taking the game waaaay to seriously! It's a religion!).
I have considered similar mechanics for Water Clone. Buy extra squads of Marro Warriors, at say 40 points each. Have them in reserve to expand the army through water clone.
However, while it would be cool to raise enemies from the dead, I have a feeling they will work much like the Marro Drones.

I don't know where I saw it, perhaps on someone's custom card for zombies, but their attack zone was only red on their head. The rest of their body was gray, perhaps making it harder for ranged units to sight in on them until they close in. Maybe they will do this with these zombie units.

I didn't think they showed any Wave 6 cards. :?:

That would be a good idea, seeing as the only way to kill a zombie is to decapitate it (or do some sort of damage to it's head)!

I'm pretty sure I saw it on a custom card, it would have to be. But when I saw the wave 6 zombies, I instantly thought of the head only attack zone. I won't pretend it was my idea, I will look to see if I can find where I had seen it.

you guys. There arn't 6 figures per card. Only squad of 3 per card. Just like many other 3 unit squads. They all start on the board just like all the rest. Hasbro decided that Commons that use some sort of hoard ability, should be doubled up in packaging, so you don't have to buy so many. Apparently they will have an abiltiy that will warrent the use of wanting to draft many units of them. They don't get to have more than 3 per card. I already talked to craig about this.

NWO is absolutely right. Trust me, we were both there at different times throughout the con and both asked about this, like many other scapers. Two squads of three Zombies each, packaged together.

I had an idea for a zombie squad a while back, where it was like the Roman Archers, only melee (and only had to be adjacent to the target, not at the same height). Pretty fun squad.
By the bye, I'm new.

I really like the idea of being able to get two of the same squad in one package. No more buying multuple sets for just the one squad I want in it and having the other squad collect dust (think Drones and Minions). At the same time though, I am sort of bummed we are getting two exact same squads in one package. That means this wave is going to have 1 less new squad then normal and it won't have as many new sculpts either (which benefits Hasbro since they don't have to use money on more ultra-expensive molds to make them). Not a huge deal really, just a small draw back.
