It is here, and it is awesome! In the first issue Skrulls were revealed, and awesomeness was had.
If you care to discuss, drop a line.

I liked the first issue. Anythings better than World War Hulk...

It still doesn't feel like much has happened yet, but the next issue of SI looks promising. NICK FURY!

To finish the thread title, "Marvel's 'Secret Invasion' is so-so and suffers thanks to a comic book reading audience that's swamped with event fatigue."

I read an interview with Bendis in which he said he originally planned Secret Invasion to just be a crossover between New and Mighty Avengers. I think that clearly shows with issue #4 of Secret Invasion. It felt very forced, and the plot barely moved forward.

About 10 months later, and Secret Invasion is done. I think it was great! This was pretty much just a New Avengers/Mighty Avengers spin off, but I loved it. The ONE problem I had with it.......(spoilers)
Is the way they brought all of the heroes who were replaced back at the end of it. It would have been a little cooler if they were dead.
Bring on Dark Reign!

...And Captain America's still dead? I figured they'd bring him back. I still can't believe they just shot him like that.
