Nice stuff Ch1can0! The spelling and grammer are a little sketchy, but the ideas are great.
Jack Black is cool. Where is the figure from?

Hi Doc_Savage!
thx for your comment, my english not so good, therefor my german cards are well phrased  Any corrections of the wording are welcome.
I think John Silent, Umrak and Jack Black are warhammer minis.

Hi, chicano.
I really love these ones.
I was planning to convert all my StarQuest (or SpaceCrusade) and SpaceHulk minis (and some rules too) for HS, but you're going far away.
I've never played WH40K, so maybe i'm telling something stupid, but....
would you like to take care of the convertion of:
- terminators
- tarantulas (that tripod-double-barrel MG)
- eldars
- gretchins
- SM with Heavy weapons
- Necrons
- Genestealers
- Dreadnaughts
:)
I also was thinking (as coming from StarQuest) at a "buildable common squad" (of space marines) rules. I will like to talk with you about that, maybe in another thread, if you like to "charge" the graphic part of the job :)

I also never played wh40k but i just got some miatures so i made the cards for them. And some units for user who asked me (Farion for havensov, fuchikoma for dra(gon) Sandraiders for hex and others).
I already made a card for the necrons, actually my first custom ever...

sound interesting... ok, iīll do the graphic part :)

Cool choice of figures and abilities, Ch1can0. I would just work a little on how you word some of your abilities so they better match the HS descriptions (if you care about that... some people do not). Also you may want to turn the Marines Combo and Chainsword Bloodbath into special attacks since they have a set number of attack dice.
Jack Black is cool, even if the name does recall images of those Nacho Libre commercials =P I like the idea of him weaving through his enemies with disengage and then emerging from the shadows, for a surprise attack with both of his colts =)
Also I'm not sure if you already know this but Farion is missing his race and class.

Ch1cano, looking closer to your cards, i have something to say:
John Silent
He is a viper sweeper: with this automatic skull is something like i will never want to face. Also against W9K he is dangerous.
I don't know the original stats of this guy, but, if this power is something related to good sighting, can i suggest to make it only for units with poor movement?
Also the Camouflage power is so strong.
Or maybe i will almost raise the price to 180...
Jack Black
I've not understood the "Out of the Dark" power....

Rhydderch: Thanks for your hints & comments. Iīve added special attacks to the marine figures. I would like to make the wording more "heroscape-ish" but my english is not so well, so any suggestions are welcome =)
I actually donīt have the farion mini, i made this unit card for a user on heroscapers.com: havensov. But then came the crash, the site was closed and i didnīt saw havensov here.. so iīve not finished the card 100%...
BTW, a thought about bonding: I made a kind of bonding between the hero space sergeant and his space marines, but not as usual as on (all?) heroscape cards: In HeroScape the squads activate the bonded hero, i think this is a bit weird. For me itīs more logical that if you activate a hero he can activate his bonded troops.
Why is it so in heroscape, has it influence to the gameplay or was it just a random decision from hasbro to make the bonding from the squad to the hero and not reverse?
Bye, Chicano.

Hi Parduz,
mmh, the "Out of the Dark" ability... i donīt know how to describe it better as on the card, so here some pics (-:
Before moving Jack Black, Umrak doesnīt see him, no LOS.
http://home.arcor.de/fellechner/heroscape/jack1.jpg
If Jack now gets in the Line of Sight while his move, he came "out of the dark" and gets an additional attack die...
http://home.arcor.de/fellechner/heroscape/jack2.jpg
John Silent: mmmh, his automatic skull is worth 2 die so actually he has an attack of 3, i donīt think itīs to much. And yes, with high advantage he will surely kill 1 viper. But most ranged units should manage that.
His camouflage was with 10+ against everything in the first version. Now you have to roll +13 and it doesnīt help against melee and special attacks.
Melee is the biggest threat for Silent John. If melee approachs to him, he may retreat, but he losses his camper bonus. or he doesnīt retreat and he risks risk to get engaged and to loose his camouflage ability. So there is a way to deal with him.
I only played him once yet and he did ok for his cost... But perhaps i have to playtest him more... :D
Thanks parduz for your comment & hints!
Bye, Chicano.

Hi Parduz,

Ok, i've understood now the ability, but i'm still in trouble with the text.
(You know what nightmare my english is, so i can be wrong).
The part that confuse me is:
"Any unit which was out of los THEN Jack Black starts...."
The word "THEN" is what sounds bad to me. If this is a "shortcut" to say "Any unit which was out of los before J.B. starts his move and is in los after the move....", then i've learned somewhat :)

Hi Ch1can0: Here are some edits to your ability descriptions for John Silent and Jack Black.
_____
Camper Bonus
If John Silent does not move this turn, add 2 dice to his attack against non-adjacent figures.
Camoflage
Whenever a non-adjacent figure attacks John Silent with a normal attack, roll the 20-sided die. If you roll a 13 or higher that figure may not attack John Silent this turn.
Out of the Dark
When attacking with Jack Black, if the defending figure was not in Jack Black's line of sight at the start of this turn, Jack Black receives 1 additional attack die.
_____
Those should be closer to the official HS text. As for the bonding Hasbro probably put the ability on its squads so they could give more abilities to the hero. Its better to put a common ability on a squad rather than on each hero. So while it may not make as much sense it probably works better game-wise.

I like the battery idea, looks great. I think you can combine the Battery Status and Battery Recharge abilities.
Here are my suggestions:
Battery
Start the game with 3 Charge Markers on this card. At the beginning of each round, if there are less than 3 Charge Markers on this card, add 1 Charge Marker.
Move Boost
Before moving, you may remove any number of Charge Markers from this card. Add 2 to the move value on this card for each Charge Marker removed.
