I hate to break it to you, but we will likely already have this info long before you get it here. Truth himself will be reporting and we have access to the internet and an expensive camera. The last thing we need are 50 seperate threads all for the same thing. But if by some twist of fate, this stuff is not posted by the time you get the info, well have at it....

The more people willing to report the news, the merrier, I say.
After all, we know how easy it is to get there, see the new stuff, and go into a babbling trance that keeps you in a state of euphoria, unable to remember the internet even exists, let alone heroscapers.com. :D

Making a thread like this a couple of days before the event is a little rediculous and is unnecessary as he could have easily made a word doc or something similar instead of starting this thread. It is no big deal I am just pointing it out as I do find this thread to be odd and sort of a waste, but not that harmful or anything.

For some reason I doubt that Truth will forget the existance of Heroscapers.com.

heh. Good point.
Still... never underestimate the reality-distortion field (borrowed from Steve Jobs, no doubt) of the wonder that is new Heroscape product!

A word doc wouldn't be accessible to me. This is on-line and I can access it from anywhere. How am I going to access a word doc that's at home on my computer without leaving it all up and running while I'm gone (not a smart option with the number of electrical storms we've been having on the east coast lately)?
I'm not sure what's odd about saving myself time by making up a simple form to fill out, but whatever man, as you say, it's harmless....I just find it odd that you even felt the need to comment.
When will Truth be getting the info? I may be getting info on Wednesday....will he be on the show floor then? My booth folks tell me Hasbro should be all set up fairly early on Wednesday as their stuff is pretty complex (ie giant scape castles) and they like to rush it out early in case they run into problems.

I think its time to change the thread name to "Discussion about placeholder threads." For a placeholder to work, I think it would have to be locked and stickied.
I reccomend that jcb just restarts this thread when he gets the info

The first post is the placeholder....it's working perfectly well for me. I just need the info there all in one place so I can take a few seconds to fill it in, as opposed to browsing around, starting new threads, etc.

kind of reminds me of the morons who create "Sightings" threads days, weeks or even months before new HS products appear in stores. oh wait. i've done this. i guess that makes me a moron.

You won't be able to get anywhere NEAR the WoTC display on Wed. even if you are the floor. Hasbo and most of the Big Boys have Black Security drapes over their stuff. GC is the big release party of the year and they guard the stuff pretty well.
Truth and I are both their Wed Night.
Don't worry man he wil get everything up as soon as he can on Thursday.
Relax.....it's all gonna be OK.

Okay....this thread generated far more attention than it needed to, and I'm getting kind of annoyed by some of it (this isn't directed at any one person)....me getting actually honest-to-god annoyed or angered on these boards is a rare rare thing....enjoy it while you can. I throw in the towel.....mods feel free to lock, delete, whatever you like...hell ban me if that's what you do now when folks start a thread. Any info I get Wednesday night I'm keeping for myself, and whoever wants to ask the questions from the questions for Rob and Craig thread I compiled can just go at it....no worries. This whole thing is just....just....I don't even know what word I'm looking for here. Insulting? Belittling? Condescending? I don't know...
Toddrew, I'll still try to call you with the info we talked about, and you can do with it what you will. Best of luck.
