I have been having some problems with my Xbox 360
Nothing big, but still some problems

First off- I have been trying to connect my ipod video to my xbox, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to do it. I have pluged it into all three of my usb hubs on my xbox, but cannot find the ipod to play my songs. I have also spent about three hours on google trying to figure out what's wrong. I was hoping that someone here could help me

Second- I really wan't to download Rock Band songs, but I do not have DSL or Cable, only Dial-up. I cannot get Cable internet, or have a way to connect my xbox to my laptop. But, I have friends that have good internet taht could download the songs for me. Could they download songs onto my Xbox Hard-Drive, and then I can use it on my Xbox? I heard you couldn't, and I can't find the answer. Can I, or not?

I can not help you with the first question, but I can on the second. You could take both your xbox system with your Hard Drive to a friends, get a free silver account (if you do not already have one), purchase some microsoft points, then download the songs. As long as the System and Profile they are downloaded onto are the same, no need to log onto Xbox Live everything to verify them. However, if you take the Hard Drive to a friends and put it onto their system, you will have to verify the downloads before you can use them.

Yes, the above post is right. You should take your whole 360, hard drive and all, to your friend's house, log on for a free Silver Account. and then download everything you want. Be sure to bring plenty of Microsoft Points!

DO NOT download the items onto another 360, even if your hard drive is attached. DO NOT download them while your friend is logged in. Make sure you make your own account on your own system. Just unplug his and set it aside so that there can be no confusion. Tell him to go make a sandwich and settle in, you'll be there a while.

When you do that, plan to take quite a while as you will likely want to check every game you own for content...go to the Game Store, select "All Games" and just browse alphabetically game by game....take your time and look at them all. There's a lot of free content out there and a lot of stuff worth purchasing.

I suggest also downloading Aegis Wing. It's a free Arcade game that is pretty fun.

First off- I have been trying to connect my ipod video to my xbox.First, you need to write down what I'm going to say. Then do what jcb231 says.

Downloads only work on the system they were downloaded on. It prevents someone from paying for an item, then recovering their account on a friends HDD and downloading it again for free.

While you are on XBOX Live, go to the Marketplace blade and select:

Game Add-Ons

Platform
Optional Media Update (this is a folder)
And download the Optional Media Update for freeLets you play unprotected music (AAC format) on your console from Zune or iPod. Lets you play MPEG4 movies on your console.

Don't Forget

Class Ring- $400
Bass Guitar- $259.99

Yet your guess for a laptop is dead wrong- we got this one as a hand me down for free

Check the cost on ebay (http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&dfsp=1&from=R10&_trksid=m37&satitle=Dell+Latitude+Cpx&sacat=-1%26catref%3DC6&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&sadis=200&fpos=ZIP%2FPostal&sabfmts=1&saobfmts=insif&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=1&fsoo=1)

I am not spoiled, though

I just have been really good, and lucky in what I have gotten for presents for the past few years- AKA- the stuff above

If I converted all my music on my ipod to mp3, do you think it would work?

If I converted all my music on my ipod to mp3, do you think it would work?It would, but it's going to take some time to do that. Downloading the patch would eliminate the hassle later. But it's your choice.

Wait a few weeks in order to download a patch

Or just a hour to convert to mp3

But I do have a few songs, maybe about 25, why would it still not reconize it?

Hopefuly, in a few weeks I'll be able to go to my Uncles house and use his Xbox live
