For those that are new, don't read all the threads, or are just confused about how things work here, I thought I'd post this to clarify the new direction we're taking. Aside from everyone's own personal customs threads, we have 3 official ways to receive feedback and (constructive) criticism:

Peer Review

Who can create one?: Anyone!
How do I create one?: Start a thread with the title "Peer Review: CUSTOM NAME by CREATOR NAME".
Which cards can I create one for?: Only your own cards
How many can there be at a time?: Only one active at any one time per creator.
What is reviewed?: Anything - cosmetics, abilities, cost...whatever you want.
When is it over?: Whenever you decide you've receved enough feedback.
What happens when it's over?: Change the title of the thread to "Peer Review: CUSTOM NAME by CREATOR NAME - CLOSED". Then you are free to create a new one.

Pretrial Review

Who can create one?: Only judges.
How do I create one?: Create a new thread titled "Pretrial: CUSTOM NAME by CREATOR NAME"
Which cards can I create one for?: Only other people's cards that were nominated in the waiting list. Anyone can nominate someone else's card. To do so, send a PM to allskulls and/or post in the "Supers TNT (Nomination thread & links to Trials)" thread. Please only create one for the next card in the list, unless there is a very good reason to skip over one.
How many can there be at a time?: Only one per judge.
What is reviewed?: Everything except point cost.
When is it over?: When everyone participating no longer has any significant issues with the card.
What happens when it's over?: A judge or moderator will convert the Pretrial Review thread to a TNT Trial thread.

TNT Trial

Who can create one?: Only a judge.
How do I create one?: Convert a completed Pretrial Review thread. Change the name to "The Trial of CUSTOM NAME (CUSTOM CREATOR)"
Which cards can I create one for?: Only ones for which a Pretrial Review has been completed.
How many can there be at a time?: No more than 5 TNT Trials at any one time.
What is reviewed?: Only point costs. Everything else should have been addressed in the Pretrial Review. Don't wait for the trial, or you may miss out on giving valuable suggestions! :)
When is it over?: When at least two judges give it the approved stamp.
What happens when it's over?: Put a TNT logo on your card, and a moderator will add it to the "The Dynamite Books - TNT Custom Books Index". It will also get a "Book of ..." thread created for it.

Note that in all three types above, ANYONE and EVERYONE can participate! So please playtest, post your results, and give plenty of helpful suggestions. It will help things move along much smoother and faster! Please only use official figures or TNT customs in your playtests. Using other customs can skew the results.

Also, you might want to note that anyone can nominate a custom for pre-trial review.

Thanks for the nice reference so I never have an excuse for forgetting what the heck is going on around here, GreyOwl. :D

Thanks! It's good for us students who can't read up on all the threads during the course of the day.

EDIT: I think you should add a maximum number for each type, so that we don't have too many threads then we can actually manage. Something like max of 3 TNT trials and 4 PreTrials, 7 total stickied trials. I don't know, just throwing it out there.

Not a bad idea...Allskulls, what do you think is reasonable for each? I don't think we need a max for Peer Reviews since we already have a max on 1 per creator, and they're not stickied. But it might be a good idea for the other 2 kinds.

How about 5 Trials and no limit on Pre-Trials other than only one at a time per judge.

Not to add to the Sticky influx, but do you think this thread should be moved to Announcement status? It does, after all, explain the process for the whole custom creation section.

Yeah, we could take the announcement off of the nomination thread and links to all the threads could be linked from here.

Sounds good. I updated the first post with this info.

I'm surprised that nobody has created a Peer Review for one of their own cards yet.

I'd consider it, but there's a mountain of Trial and PreTrial stuff going on still that I've been trying to push forward. Not to mention my time for all this stuff is limited at the moment.
I definitely have an interest in making a large number of my cards part of this process, though.

I would love to start some Peer Reviews (there are over 200 in fact that I would like to start... ), but I want to finish the TNT trial that I am working on.

Sounds like you might be talking about nominating other customs for Pretrial. Peer Reviews are what you create for your own cards to get feedback, not necessarily leading to a trial.
